Anyone having this problems with purchasing Carmageddon 2?

I have it on my wishlist, so I go notified of a discount.

I added it to my cart, then I opened my cart - nothing there but shows 1 item (okay?)

Proceeded to checkout, then it tells me 'your order is empty'

I already sent a ticket to support but no reply in while.

Another odd thing, when I click on carmageddon 2 from mywishlist, it just redirects me to another page with no info.

Even when you look for it in the search function, there is no carmageddon 2 result (just TDR).

It's like they took it off the store, yet discounted it?

PS: I did turn off hardware accel, that didn't seem to help either

try to check on steam...

It's blocked for germans.
Pity it doesn't say that on the gamecard. :(

Maybe I'll leave this link here just because I want to. It's such a pretty link....

The country blocks it, not the store. It's wouldn;t be listed there either.

Germans can't see the gamecard (without a VPN).

Meaning the rest of us can take a look at the game card and see a notice saying this game is restricted for purchase. :)

Sorry for the confusion.

Why should it. GAmecard normally is not shown for Germans as well.
Edit: Ninja'd

And what would you gain from this. Hey, you can see the gamecard anbd you can buy it but some cannot. You still would be able to buy the game and the information that others cannot won't give you any advantages.

There wouldn't be any confusion, if GOG would redirect you to a page that says "Sorry, you can't buy this item from your country." instead of redirecting you to the main page without any notice.

I can't understand why they don't do that.

MarkoH01: *snip*
Pater sums it up. That way folks would know what is going on when they're trying to by a game and they're not allowed to, when a purchased game is different from what they were expecting or when someone asks such a question and the rest of us go looking for the answer.

Maybe it;s just me but "Disclosure" rules are something I have to deal with every day. I'm under a number of NDAs and what not. Not seeing necessary information makes it hard some times.

edit: Sorry Pater for misspelling your name. Fixed.

This normally is not even possible since you won't be able to click on any blocked game at all. The only reason this is possibnle in this case is because the discounted offers were given an e-mail notice no matter if blocked or not. In all other cases the gamecard will not be shown at all so you won't be able to click on anything and so it could not redirect you to general pages therefore confusing you. That is of course only the fact if you are using the website without any additional things like VPN and such (which is unwanted according to GOG ToS).

It often is possible to click on the games, because of the release threads or news threads for promos that include links to the gamecards.
