I greatly prefer PC.
And PC means "DRM-free". If it's burdened with DRM, it's effectively not a PC game because it has restrictions against what PC means (free ability to edit it, tinker with, adjust save games, and future-proofing, etc).
[Yes, Steam really don't sell much in the way of PC games; it's effectively its own closed console-like system that just also runs atop PC as its base.]
Now, I do wish I could transition to Linux (especially after the shittiness that is Windows 10). But, alas, after a few good years there, PC gaming has regressed and stopped making that easier. I also feel sorry for Mac gamers after Apple continually smashes their endeavors to game on the OS.
Addendum regarding consoles: I do have a PS4 that I bought used late in its cycle cheaply to play some games there. I only do console games with physical media. Same story with a 360 [that still gets used; it had a huge library of long, exclusive games I picked up used]. PS2 and older I emulate. Funny story, I also got a used XBone in a bundle with the PS4 that I've... basically never used. It's a paperweight. I start it every few months to run updates, but that's it. I have no library for it except as a "well, when my 360 dies" system. There's not a single game for any console that wouldn't be better as a bona fide PC game.
