dtgreene: If not, than what *do* you prefer?
Only ppl who don't know how PC works will choose console

One thing that's great with PC is that your family (whether you are living with your parents or if you have kids of your own) can't see what you are doing... Meanwhile, when you are playing on console, on a TV, they can see all the sex scenes etc.

Swedrami: No, strongly prefer political incorrectness.
Pancreatic Cancer is not so nice tho

Cavalary: Not just prefer, but exclusively stick to it.
I agree, it sucks so many great games (Metal Gear Solid 3 & 4, for instance) are exclusively on console

Orkhepaj: yup especially win10 the best os for the best system
everything else is just hipster thing, bragging or lazyness

Yes, PC is my favorite gaming platform. I have had no interest whatsoever in consoles since the SNES, and even though I love many NES and SNES games, I'm more than fine playing those games on the PC with the keyboard, using an emulator.
PC is nice as long as it's called RIP. I'll play with arm toys if I have to, but only professionally.
I play most of my games on Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch. I've grown up with consoles, and that has always been my preferred method of gaming. I do of course love all my PC classics (Baldur's Gate, Thief, Deus Ex, Bloodlines, Red Alert, Diablo 2..). And I keep my rig decently updated for playing the newest Battlefield games every few years (I can't aim in multiplayer FPS on console).

Nice gatekeeping. I've built most of my friends' PCs and have decent knowledge about components, but I do prefer consoles myself.

I'll argue that the Switch is a much better porn-system than PC if you're looking for privacy while playing.

I've been 99% a PC only gamer since 1994. Only exceptions are some Nintendo stuff, namely Goldeneye/Mario Kart 64 matches with my friends in high school and playing all the Zelda games through various methods.

I was a NES and SNES kid though, I just switched to PC around when Doom came out and never looked back. My favorite genres are by far best on PC... RPG, FPS, stealth and point and click adventure games.
Yes, PC is my. favourite platform for gaming.

I've had (and still have) a few consoles along the years too, mainly for playing exclusives, but PC is where I'm always at.

I also play everything with mouse and keyboard. It's just my preferred input, and it feels so natural to me.
I prefer PCs for lots of genres but I also don't like DRM so if it's a choice of put up with DRM on PC or play a game I actually want to play on console with some compromises then I'll do the console. That said, much more likely it's just to do with genre. Of course I am not going to play a game like Baldur's Gate, Commandos, or Supreme Commander (in the latter's case the second game) on console because the control method is too restrictive and unenjoyable for me. I prefer playing FPS games on the PC when possible but I played the CoD4 remaster on Xbox One just fine and like it there. Some games just work better on console for me. Even with a gamepad for the PC I rarely like having to use one there and prefer some games just to be optimized (or at least less my choice of PC hardware's fault) for the console. I cannot imagine playing Gears of War on PC nor most JRPGs, though I do buy them on GOG occasionally. Although, if consoles are going to make me go through longer and increasingly more arduous update/install setup processes anyway there's less and less convenience to a console these days. In short, I use my PC for gaming fairly often but I prefer it depending on genre and availability.
Yes, PCs are great, whether the operating system is Windows, Mac, or Linux, no matter if the form factor is desktop, laptop, or tablet. But if you want to be more specific, I do prefer Windows and desktop PCs.

they are jealous of my pc ofc :P
PC only since 1987 starting with good old Amstrad machines.

The only exception was Heavy Rain on PS3 due to it being an exclusive title...
