Does anyone know of any games with good soundtracks that do not have any bangers?

Meaning what exactly? No catchy tracks?
I love the Hexplore soundtrack.
The Bard's Tale 4.

Define banger? Are there particular musical elements you're looking to avoid? Or do you mean banger in the loose sense of "a good tune"?

EDIT: Oh look, my stalker(s) have shown up to down rate all of my posts. Good-o.

I think they either mean "club bangers" in the hip hop sense or "aaaaarrrrr fuggin bangin tune mert!" - most likely the former.

Hot take: Lufia I's soundtrack has several catchy tunes, but the sound programming leaves something to be desired.

Nah, I think she's inquiring about games with good music with an all-virgin cast (i.e., banger-free). Since only the most smartest and creative individuals in history were/are virgins. Newton, Tesla, Beethoven, Warhol, Andersen, Kant, Leopardi, and Queen Elizabeth I are a few examples.

No but seriously, what games or genres are you asking about, dtgreene? There are plenty of games with OK-but-unmemorable OSTs I've played that I wouldn't listen to again IRL on commutes, during work, at the gym, etc.

Nope. Unfortunately all game soundtracks have bangers, sorry to say.

Usually the bangers are inserted automatically by the composing software to the music, right in the beginning and at the end of the soundtrack, and sometimes also in the middle.

Ok, I admit I have absolutely no idea what a "banger" is, but I still stand by what I said. I used google translate and it said banger means e.g. a sausage or a car which is in a poor shape.

Did you mean a "badger"? I know a lot of badger-free game soundtracks.

Leo.org says:

banger =

1. sausage
2. firecracker

I´m clueless...
You'd think someone that starts 10 threads a day would have a better understanding of language.

So... Sausage + firecracker = double banger?
Sounds like a fun crafting recipe :D

I mean "banger" in the sense of headbanging. Banging just doesn't sound like a pleasant experience to me.

More seriously, if anyone feels like giving serious recommendations, there are, indeed, a few things I'd prefer to avoid:
* Electric guitar. (This is why, in Final Fantasy 5's OST, the big bridge theme is the one track I don't like. The FF12 version of this track doesn't have this issue.)
* Constant non-melodic percussion. Specifically, drumbeats.
* Vocals, unless it's like a classical choir.
