Too niche my A$@&.
GOG, stop acting like a spoiled brat and start accepting GOOD GAMES.
Feel free to reject shovel ware though.
I prefer the new dungeon crawlers to the old ones and am interested in the game.
The policies of GoG are a mystery to me, I wonder if there are votings for every game by the employees or if there's some overlord like a giant Gogbear with a "CEO" mug making the decision.

Marioface5: I just sent the developers a message about releasing it DRM-free on the Humble Store. If GOG doesn't want our money, then I'm sure Humble would be happy to get it instead.
I'm afraid Humble ceased to be a true DRM-free champion a long time ago. The money argument could actually get them to move a finger, though.

Maxvorstadt: Hmm, looks interesting without any question. But... I couldn`t find any system requirements.
You didn't search very thoroughly, did you? ;)

Thanks! :-) But... how did you find this?
Well, we have Legend of Grimrock, i don't really see such a big market for such games right now. Legend of Grimrock being modern version of hundreds of old games with pretty much the same concept.

It's kinda bad premise for modern games, and i think that's the reason for not so great combat system in these kind of games.

If you ask me, GOG accepted too many games in last few years. They should triage even more.

RaggieRags: Anyway, both games have reviewed well. They look professional enough. Similar games are already in GOG. So what's the problem?
They were just released. Wait for the first time they will be on sale, and more bad reviews might come up. In the case of The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians, we might not know the whole story. Same developer have another game, Tennis Elbow 2013, that does not look spectacular, but still, 3 years after release, it's still $23 even if it only had around 90 reviews, so not so many buyers.
I've purchased many games on Steam where I was scratching my head saying "Why isn't this on GOG?" (and sometimes they show up, but later)

Quite easily, really:

1) Opened the game's website (linked in the OP).

2) Dropped-down the ABOUT menu.

3) Noticed the RECOMMENDED COMPUTER SPECIFICATIONS option and clicked it.

Voilà! ^_^
Heh, gog probably rejected several times more games then the size of its catalog. Whatever their critereia is its definitely very weird besides the obvious economic one: aka this game will bring is this much money and this game won't generate any money, so let's reject it, etc.

Eitherway its an old gog thing to reject widely accepted or wanted games. At this point im not bothered anymore to ask devs to release their games here since its doomed to failure eitherway.

It's a shame that GOG don't support the little guy more. Some genres -P&C, old school rpgs, etc- sell better on GOG compared to steam than the more comercial releases. One of Primordia's developers was surprised by their sales on GOG, that were well above what they expected. So I actually think niche genres are very well suited for GOG -as per the good old games origin and all-.

Oh, interesting: When I first visited the homepage, there was no drop down menu, so I could only click on "About", and there were nothing about (sic!) the system requirements to be found.

Hmm, weird that this game is rejected, since it`s basically the same as Legend of Grimrock.
But wait... Has GoG really rejected this game, or are the developers only using a feeble excuse?

I agree, we need more Freddi Fishin' on this here site!
I guess the wishlist need 4 digits votes for GoG to change their mind.
According to the most recent comment on the Thea: The Awakening wishlist page, "Dev confirmed on steam forum that it is now coming to gog. Gj voting everyone." - http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/thea_the_awakening
