djdarko: The backup .ini files are the untouched ones from the original GOG installation, which aren't related at all to the Visible Upgrade.

" It seemed no difference between ignoring step 2 but I could see text (as opposed to invisible) with an extremely small font size."

Is this in the screenshot? I see no text in the first image, and normal sized text in the other.

Nirth: No, it's not. I will see if I can replicate that effect.

Edit: I don't seem to be able to. I was surprised even appeared because I have been switching with the back up files and the mod files back and forth to see if anything changed.
I just installed the game on my 1080p laptop to do a test. Everything looks fine here.

I did run into a bit of an issue though, one of the required options isn't enabled by default in the Visible Tweaker tool.

Open the Visible Tweaker tool:
Tweaker > Overview
Instructions for the Unified Texture Pack: [✓] Unified Texture Pack master enable

Also make sure to make sure this is checked:
Unified Texture...
Custom Font [✓] Enabled

I made a slight re-edit adding this info into the instructions. I also changed the .ini placement into the Unified Textures folder, hopefully making it easier to use.

Custom Font is enabled by default. I enabled the Unified Texture pack and aside from that the only changes I made was getting rid of intro movies and changing resolution to 1080p. It still doesn't work.

Weird. I'm not sure what to say is it works on both my computers, in different resolutions. I'm curious to hear any feedback from others.
