In other words, I don't buy it, it's probably just some internal test and not a sign of an upcoming release.

This article speculates that some titles were for internal testing for GeForce NOW, but considering how protective Nintendo is of there IP's I would say there is no chance of this happening.

Maybe a leftover from the time that NVidia was selling Wii games in China.

Could also be because NVidia built the Switch. That contract passed me off so much because I wanted a true successor to the Shield tablet, but Nintendo's contract prevented NVidia from marketing and selling "competing hardware" with the Switch.

Unrelated to the post but related to the article in the link: Using Nintendo's word about dumping and emulation being illegal is rather misleading.
If I remember right, there are laws in multiple countries, including the US, that allow having back up copies of contents you own, and Nintendo themselves tried to take emulation to court but lost.
</off-topic>
About the post itself, while I don't see it as impossible, I'd expect many more years until Nintendo gives in for porting their IPs to PC. Only recently they started putting games on Android and removing their mentions of "emulation = piracy" from their site.

It would totally be typical Nintendo if their first game on PC was something nobody asked for like New Super Mario Bros. instead of something from the Nintendo franchises that would actually make sense on PC, like Fire Emblem or Animal Crossing.

Yeah. I predict it will launch at the same time as the Official Nintendo Star Fox Hentai Collection and Kirbys Dreamland Cannibus strain.
I've been a Nintendo fan since I got my NES and while Nintendo does get with the times eventually I just can't see it. They're currently hypying a software update adding Bluetooth headphone support to a system that launched FOUR YEARS AGO.

Nvidia Lightspeed Studios have ported a number of Nintendo games, using emulation, to their Shield device in the past. Only available in the Chinese market for the Shield. Some of the game have then come to Switch later (Super Mario All Stars)- not difficult, since it's just Shield hardware. So Nintendo and Nvidia obviously have some agreements for such things. The listing in GeForce Now is probably just a proof of concept, testing for if they want to use those games for their streaming service in future- possibly only in China again. It doesn't mean they are ever going to come to PC.

I think Nintendo still sees too much their games as a selling point for their consoles for this to happen. It would be a welcome change though.
