gog's new 30-day refund policy

In the absence of practical operation, gog fans believe that this policy will be abused by bad people. At present, there are people who see the refund in the forum, and the experience is very unfriendly. It feels that if this continues, it is likely that the two sides will not flatter and ruin the reputation of cdpr.

When I was bored, I thought of the following methods

1. New users can directly have refunds for 1--3 games(New user registration may require restrictions to prevent abuse).
2. For each game purchased, half of the game price can be recorded as a credit point on the user account.
3. When refunding, if there is a remaining refund quota, the refund quota will be directly deducted. When there is no refund quota, a credit point will be used to deduct the amount of the game.

At present, if you really want to buy a game on the gog platform, you will definitely get a refund if you run into the wrong game. But the number of people who just want to be Baiji is limited and it is difficult to make a big impact.

Of course, the above refund amount and the game credit point calculation method are all slap in the head. How to determine the specific ratio, you should have better data for reference.

Refundable for another 30 days, personally feel too long, half a month or a week is more appropriate

You were clearly bored. :)
Although personally i also feel the new 30-day refund policy will surely be abused by a few bad eggs out there, i'm pretty sure GOG wld hv already thought through thoroughly how 2 deal with such ppl.

However, i do few that making a couple more rules on refund policies like u suggested such as refund limit of 1-3 games for new users might help lower the abuse rate.

Another suggestion could be a max refund of 1- 3 games per yr limit (depending on user's purchased amount so far) which wld also likely help reduce reduce abuse 2 a minimum.

haha~~~ also want gog to get better and better
Er ... Because gog's current refund policy makes them have to review manually, which results in very low work efficiency and players are not satisfied. If gog wants to develop in the future, it is inevitable to get rid of labor.

Then use AI to judge, the rules will definitely be more complicated ..

Regarding your suggestion .. It also feels good, but if there can only be 3 places at most in 1 year, it is too few, I have already refunded more than 3 on steam this year :-p
