Both on GOG and Steam i have noticed this:
"Sale up to -80%! Buy the game right now and save some money!"
This is so ingenuine. By buying the game, you are not "saving" money. You are spending less that what your would have if the game had stayed at its base price. Either way (unless, in Steam's case, you have enough Steam Wallet funds from selling CS:GO items and trading cards) your bank account is being charged with a payment.
IMHO those sites should change the wording because it's incredibly ingenuine.
I could consider the name "savings" in regards to basic articles of clothing, food etc. which are basically necessary to live. Buying a game for less money isn't "saving".
