Hello,
Before I start I would like to apologize if I put this in wrong category.

We are new to this business so we really have no idea what to do and I thought it was a good idea to ask here.
Me and my friend are from Slovakia and we are students. We would like to create and submit our game to GOG. Game will be made with Unity and we know license/monetizing plans of Unity and all that stuff.
In my country you have to tax all your products and services if your yearly profit exceeds 500€.

So my question is, Do I have to register a business in order to be able to sell our game? Is there other way or what do you recommend for us?

I understand that you probably don´t know laws of my country but any advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks for any advice.

First: this forum is primarily used for communication between customers. You most likely won't get very detailed business-related responses here.

Second:
* For business and press inquiries, send e-mail to inquiries@gog.com
* In order to submit your game to GOG, go to https://www.gog.com/indie

You sound like you need to speak with a lawyer or other tax professional.
Ouch, if I read this correctly, you have to put up 5k in Euros in assets to register a corporation in Freedonia um I mean Slovakia:

Well, generally you need capital to found a company but you don't necessarily need a company. The same article you linked to states the following right in the beginning:

"There is no need to create a legal entity for the purpose of business, as there is an opportunity to register an individual as a sole proprietorship, also known as the sole trader or individual entrepreneur (živnostník)."

And the very next sentence mentions another option if multiple people are involved:

"A special type of legal entity in Slovakia is a cooperative (družstvo), which is not a commercial company."

Either option should come at (almost) no cost and be more than enough for potential partners like GOG.

No offense but hold your horses, I would make sure anyone is interested in the game before even beginning to think about this kind of stuff. Odds are that your game will be rejected by GOG - if not, then some bureaucracy is the last thing you'll be worrying about.

Was curious if the guy was asking what I thought he was here on a forum or if it was just an issue of language - turns out he actually WAS interested in learning about country's corporate tax policy LOL.

Hey, uh... so while you're here... any news on a date? ;) It's "early 2018" and I'm starting to get antsy ;)

Well, I certainly didn't expect him to mark my reply as the solution. :D

All I can say is...
I just spent far too long parsing that gif and page looking for a hidden release date. It's either coming out July 27th, it already secretly came out Feb 5th, or Elvis died and came back as a potatoe chip. I'm not sure which yet.
Good luck, but.. I would actually bet on Steam first.

Gog kinda requires good quality (usually missing in "first games") and it's too tiny to properly check new small indies (it seems already too swamped).
