*** NOW CLOSED ***

Time for another giveaway and I thought it would be fun if between us we tell a story at the same time. I will start things rolling and then each person who enters this GA needs to add to the story as well. You can add a sentence or a whole paragraph or two, it is up to you.
Don't worry if you are not a native English speaker or just suck at storytelling (such as I do) this is just for a bit of fun.

** The Rules **

This giveaway is open to everyone.
List all the games you are interested in entering for.
If you win a game it is to be redeemed on the account you entered with.
Winners will be chosen through random.org.
Please no comments about how you rarely win in giveaways, winners are chosen at random and I don't think its fair to lay a guilt trip on me.
Please add to the story.

2. Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series
3. Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition

** Let it begin **

She paused, whiskers twitching, in the still, cold air. Her companions constant bickering reverberated in the back of her head like a pneumatic drill. The chasm in front looked unsurpassable but there must be a way across. There had to be a way.
Liliana turned to regard Sarkozy and Plum...

Doc0075: She paused, whiskers twitching, in the still, cold air. Her companions constant bickering reverberated in the back of her head like a pneumatic drill. The chasm in front looked unsurpassable but there must be a way across. There had to be a way.
Liliana turned to regard Sarkozy and Plum...
They were busy arguing over who had the loudest purr. Holy Garfield, she could never take those two anywhere without them getting into trouble. It was like she was cursed or something.

(Checking the list I don;t see anything of interest to me but I'll double check later.)

I don't want them all to be cats/tigers. Is there any background to the story? Sarkozy obviously has to be the monkey, plz?

Wolfehunter: An Adventurer just finished a long journey and now is about to claim his reward. The city guard forward him to Center of light and Giveness temple for his deeds. The adventurer made his way thought the city slums on the main street closing on to the temple.

A cleric was exiting the temple and the adventurer requested a moment of his time.
“Where do I go for my reward on the requested mission given and completed by me?” said the adventurer to the cleric.
Cleric responded, “Head in and turn left you will see the regent there behind the large golden doors.”

Adventurer nodded and left.

The adventurer was eager to finally see his opportunity to win his reward for his long quest but it was worth it. Asking the regent Doc0075 about his reward for his completed mission he wasn’t offered any gold or gems or coins.. No he was offered a choice. The adventurer chooses from regents gracious gifts a free copy of Divinity: Original sin – Enhanced Edition. This adventurer was hoping would he be lucky to finally have It after a long journey.
I thought we have to continue the story that Doc started?

my bad sorry I didn't see the last part of your request ignor my story then I'll skip it since I screwed up :P
I'm in for Divinity: Original Sin or The Witcher 3

Story time!
-Hey, will you two help me figure out this chasm?- said Liliana- That old witch wasn't really clear on whether we should jump across the chasm or dive into it, but I'm pretty sure these cave paintings might help us figure it out! You know, other than that grafitti. Pfff, "Hubert wuz hear", who gives a litterbox? The damn fool couldn't even spell properly.

-... AND THAT IS WHY I'M GOING TO PURR YOUR LIGHTS OUT, SARKOZY! Oh, I'm sorry Liliana, you were saying?
... Sarkozy, the infamous monkey, took off his pirate hat and started scratching his head.
- A mage had taught me a spell that I could use to talk to a butterfly and ask it to send me a Royal Griffin, but that was back in Erathia. We don't have griffins here.

Sorry was typing while the previous post was up

"Maybe I'll try the spell anyway."

* Sarkozy tries to cast the spell, and sure enough *something* shows up. The thing is, that something is not a griffin, but rather appears to be some mess of a harpy, a wyvern, and a sea dragon. "What is this monstrosity?"

(Not in.)
... Rrrraaaaaarghhhhh!!! What king of magic is this? I was ready to eat a tasty salmon when you summoned me. Maybe you want to be my lunch now? Or do you have a better idea?

In for Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition
Post edited January 11, 2018 by greeklover
Thank you, Doc0075, for your amazing generosity!

I'm in for either of the Divinity: Original Sin entries, or for either of the Witcher 3 entries.

Also, for anyone who hasn't played Transistor yet: Highly recommended. Wonderfully atmospheric.

Liliana sighed, and clutched her aching head with both her paws. These nitwits had actually managed to summon a borogrove!

This was the last drop. If they survived long enough for the unsummoning, she was going to ditch them at the first opportunity. Preferably right in this chasm in front of them.

And to think, the day had started so well...

It has been more than a month since they had began their journey. From the idyllic town they inhabited, the invisible hand of fate have brought them to this snowy realm; three very unlikely adventurers amidst a dead land. Or was it so?
From the night they entered this region of whiteness, Liliana has noticed, or rather felt a presence of something. It had followed them during the day, watched them in the night, spoke in unfathomable whispers that melted with the howling wind. It was easy to miss, but her instincts did not fail her. Liliana's companions did not notice all these, busy either in their buoyant musings or fretful ramblings. And at this precise point of time, the chasm in front of them seemed to her all too orchestrated. But she was not willing to give up, after all that they went through. She was not ready to give up on her townspeople, who had put their trust on them.

Yes, like every other story, theirs too had a past; a hundred year old seedling growing in darkness, hidden from the eyes of the mortals only to spread its roots through the very basis of their society. A prized possession, a family heirloom, whose real potential hidden for centuries, became the bane of everyone they knew and loved and then too many. It all began nearly a year ago in their quite little town of Yarnville. ....

This a nice giveaway. I hope the story goes along to be a really good one.
As for the games I don't usually enter a giveway (actually I have never entered one :p). But there are a couple of games here that I am very interested in. And winning something is really fun. Will it be okay with the OP if I decide later whether I want any of these games and if yes which ones? :)

EDIT: I'm IN for Sunless Sea. :)

- What about this ring? - Sarkozy asked Liliana.
- What ring?
- The one that witch gave you of course! Please... Don't tell me you lost it?!
- Ahh, no I did not... that one? Do you think I should use it now...?

thank you for your kind words.
I hope others will try to explore this backstory in Yarnville.
