Seriously, the progress has been nothing short than impressive. Also, the further you go the harder it will be to improve, it is normal if after a while things slow down.
Think positive: you didn't improve this time but you didn't get worse either. That already is not bad.

It's not that much of an increase.
I am sure you will be moving closer to your goal in the coming weeks. After all, the progress you have already made is nothing short of impressive.
:)
Week #20 is finished and I ended up at the same point as Week #16, so no winner this week unfortunately.

Week #19 was a bit messy as I came back from holiday during the week and then left on Friday for CoxCon all weekend, so I only got a few measurements that week.

We'll see what the next couple of weeks bring, as I am not at work. Hope it goes well!
Yo, so I also slacked off for like a week and a half. Then my brother came and we just ate out all the time.
I'll get back on the grind with you.
Keep it up!
Hopefully your free time csn bring a good progress. It can be a double-edged sword so your will should not be lacking.

It's just a delay in your progress, no need to be worried. Keep going !

I wasn't entering this thread for some time, and now I see there was some slacking happening here lately.
That won't do private xyem, slap out of it soldier and give me twenty! :D
Joking aside, holiday is supposed to be used for relaxation so if that delayed the progress a little, no big deal, it will actually give you more strength to push hard again when you start picking up from where you left.
Cheers!

Xyem can't be just a private, come on. Maybe sergeant? Or at least corporal?
All your efforts and constant updates made me try again with my own battle (yeah, I could definitely use that), so big THANK YOU for that. And how is your progress now?

(please do not count this post to the giveaway)

Congrats on your awesome progress, Xyem! Keep it up! :)

If you want to speed up your progress here's a couple tips that worked for me and others I've helped:

The caloric density of what you eat matters more than how much you eat. That means choosing the right foods that allow you to eat as much as you want without restricting yourself is key to long-term weight loss.
These are fiber rich and nutrient rich whole foods such as vegetables, whole grain rice/pasta/bread, potatoes, legumes, fruits, etc. Fiber rich foods fill up your stomach faster and complex carbohydrates make you feel satiated longer.

I'm sure you've realized by now that skipping dessert is not sustainable in the long term for you. The solution is to eat a healthy apple strudel instead of the store bought one. If you eat one made of oats, apple, and dates instead of refined flower, refined sugar, refined oil/eggs/butter, you'll be eating less than half the calories and stay happily on your path towards long term weight loss. Same applies for many other foods, instead of french fries try oven baked "fries" with no oil, whole grain rice instead of white rice, etc. (btw, sweet potatoes are amazing). Removing refined carbs and oil and introducing more vegetables, legumes, whole carbs and fruits will make a huge difference in your weight loss journey and you won't even need exercise.

Good luck in reaching your goal, and if you ever need help, I'll be happy to.

Thks 4 the tips although they r not directed 2 me, will keep these in mind when i eat in future. Think wat i shd be be doing is eat more healthy filling food instead of just trying 2 resist the urge 2 eat junk food (which is 1 hell of a tough thing 4 me 2 do anyway). Oh, that plus more consistent exercise i thnk, haha.

So far it seems Xyem's making all the progess while my scales hv barely dipped aft over 6mths of exercise. Ok, granted my exercise aren't enough yet & neither hv my diet changed too drastically but here's still wishing Xyem as well myself more progress on our weight loss journey. :)

Well... things are still looking well. Let us hope Xyem's motivation still holds on.
He can't give up just now, calling it "good enough"!

Well, over 50% of the goal can be good enough for a first try if it's at least maintained.
