I always wondered why they weren't able to deliver them. Hard to believe they didn't have a copy or that they rights of the manual were scattered. Queer.

It has to be copyright issues bacause those docs are available on replacementdocs.

This is both great news and bad news for me.
The great news is that I can get it on GOG DRM free and hopefully with other GOG attributes.
The bad news is that now I'll have to buy it twice. AoW 3 is a game I have to have the box and printed manual for.

Age of Wonders is my favourite TBS game of all time, and another AOW game with a soundtrack by Michiel van den Bos seems extremely promising and all... but only six available races? No halflings, lizardmen or frostlings? No undead?!
Otherwise it looks pretty cool, and I hope they'll release an expansion pack with additional races, after the initial release.

There are less races mostly because of the customization. For example, you may have regular goblins, but you also can have angel goblins if you play as theocrat ;P

In short, less races, but you can customize them.

Q1 2014. I like AoW2 more, so I disagree :p Actually, I am really looking forward to this game because it's going to be an AoW game which doesn't look like chunky ass (yes, I like shiny things). The alpha trailer is worthy of salivating over.

Are you saying AOW1 is not good looking ? I agree the visual aspect of AOW2 could have been better, but shadow magic and the first one are far from being ugly in my opinion.

Or do you mean "games made before 2010 look like chunky ass !" ? which is an argument hard to discuss ....
