I got a Steam discount coupon for Evoland as a reward for collecting all Civ V trading cards. It expires soon (Sep 24) and I am not going to use it so I thought I should ask if anyone else wants it. Any takers? If you want it I need your username on Steam and I'll add you as a friend so that we can trade next time we are both online,
No disrespect intended, but why would anybody choose to purchase that game on Steam when they could get the DRM-free version right here (as I did)?

Still, thank you for your generosity.

Why would anyone get a game on steam? People do.
Forgot to say it is 50% off.

Well, yes; but I'm referring to the subset of Steamers who already know about GOG. It makes somewhat more sense to pick up a game there that's not (or not yet) available here.

And that's about what I paid here; I have the patience (and enough games already in my backlog) to be able to wait for a sale.

But wouldn't Evoland cost less with the coupon on steam than it costs in GOG ?

Yes, it would.

But I think TwoHandedSword is saying he would rather wait a bit longer for a sale here than buy a game cheap on Steam when there is an opportunity. Which I totally understand, but I also understand if someone is about equally happy with having the game here or on Steam and therefore doesn't have any particular reason to wait,

Thank you for your generosity! I'll pass, as I don't have the finances to buy games at the moment. Don't let anyone take the joy out of your offering to others :) Thanks again!
Thanks for the offer flaxxiv. I think Death2Videodrome was interested in this game. I will let him know, just in case... ;)

UPDATE: I just sent him a message through Steam. I hope he sees it before the 24th...

UPDATE2: LOL, now I have a 50% OFF coupon for Evoland... (:P)
