Ah but steam tells you if it's used, difference between not working and it's been redeemed. Doesn't mean much to me anyways. :P

not so much - it should say duplicate if used, but doesnt always - sometimes just tells you its invalid.
also doesnt tell you WHO redeemed it (likely a scammer by now) so... i think that was my point roughly summed up, but cheers anyways like i said! :)
