Hello everyone,

I registered on Gog.com sometime ago following The Witcher 2, when I heard CDK Projekt said that if we buy the game via Gog.com it will really help them as its a sister company so I pre-ordered digital premium edition of the game from gog as I like to support them but since then I am having trouble downloading the game via gog.com downloader, in my country there is a lot of electricity failure problem so I need the download resume feature that is why I used gog.com downloader but its really annoying, dont get me wrong even in beta stage the software is totally unstable sometimes it ask me to enter login details again and again even after I enter correct details, also sometimes it just stay at 0 speed and does not start the download, sometimes it fails to fetch download size and sometimes it connects then disconnects and so on... while sometimes it works perfectly.

I tried everything disable firewall, disable antivirus, set compatibility to vista or xp, reinstall the software by reinstalling adobe air but same problems can anyone guide me what should I do or is it possible that I use another downloader and put browser links in it. I always get my games from STEAM and never had any trouble in downloading, this is my first game from gog.com and.... :(( Please help.
Just to clarify, are you using the old, discontinued Adobe AIR downloader, or the new executable (the current version is 0.9.0.1376)?

If you encounter any problems with the new Downloader, contact us through the Support forms and prepare the Downloader's log files, found here (compress them into a single .ZIP file, if possible):
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\GOGDownloader\output.log
or
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\GOGDownloader
Considering he mentioned re-installing Adobe Air, I think its pretty safe to say he is using the wrong downloader. Get the latest version of the downloader, which does not use Adobe Air, here: http://files.gog.com/downloader/gogdownloader_0901376.zip
I am new and i love GOG. Its got great prices, and hey, free games when you first sign up. I love it. Long live the, GOG!

I tried setting its compatibility to xp sp2 and run in administrator mode and it helped a little bit, it ran flawlessly last night with continuous download of about 4 gb but today again is started to do this. I don't understand why ?

And I didn't knew that this version does not use adobe AIR, I just quickly went through the trouble shooting guide and saw that reinstalling adobe AIR help sometimes so I tried that.

I also like Gog, the website is perfect, no problems in purchasing and free games in start its very good but this application is causing some problems as you can see.
The newest one is .1772....download it via your my account games shelf...click a game then when the window opens click the little quesiton mark next to download using downloader to get the newest version.
@GameRager

I don't think the new one is .1772 as Firek and Cogadh mentioned that the new one is .1376 plus I also see .1376 when I click on The Witcher 2 in my games collection.
