ok, there is this old movie I haven't seen since I was a kid.

I found it trolling through my cousin's collection of recorded VHS tapes, and as such never knew the title of it:

it was a kind of horror take on Little Red Riding Hood in that it was mixed with werewolves (like the big bad wolf was a Werewolf, and Riding hood kinda fell in love with him or something), it wasn't a modern setting though ... more like colonial times or classical France.

it had to have been made in the late 70's or 80's (I'm thinking it was probably 80's) simply due to the fact that I was a kid when I watched it.

the ending of it was that the girl wakes up from a bad dream or something and screams, then her maid comforts her, but when the Maid leaves the room a wolf smashes through the window by her bead and takes her away.

anyone got any ideas?
Might it have been, The Company of Wolves?

I haven't seen that movie in quite some time, but it is definitely from that same time frame (early 80's) and sounds vaguely like the plot.
bingo!

that was it.
Awesome! Glad to help. I remember it being a pretty entertaining movie. I should try to find it for myself, or perhaps Netflix will have it.
