tburger: Freespace 2 was my first gog game on gog. Than after loooong wait for Interplay promo I purchased Fallouts because I was afraid Bethesda will take over them. I'm NOT interested in Battle Chess, Conquest of the new World, Evolva, Invictus, Kingdom, Kingpin, Redneck, Shattered Steel, Shogo and VR Soccer - so it would cost me $50 (with -50%) to buy what I want. I can handle this but not in one shot.
My first game here was Baldur's Gate. There's never been a promo on any Interplay games since I joined. My must-haves include Descent 3 + Expansion, Earthworm Jim 1 + 2, F/A-18E Super Hornet, Freespace + Expansion, Freespace 2, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Sacrifice, Screamer, Shattered Steel, and Shogo: Mobile Armor Division. I neglected to mention before that I also have Stonekeep, which I got as a gift (it's a great game, by the way).

At half-off, that'd be $30. Those are all the games I'd be absolutely furious about not getting if they just vanished. The other games I very much want, but not quite as desperately are Battle Chess Special Edition, Castles + Castles 2, Conquest of the New World, Die by the Sword + Expansion, Kingpin: Life of Crime, M.A.X. + M.A.X. 2, MDK, MDK 2, Messiah, and Redneck Rampage Collection. I'd probably need a better discount than 50%, but I wouldn't want to miss out on these.

At 75% off or more, though, the whole lot would be cheap enough that I'd get the rest as curiosities. At $1.50, as long as a game provides an hour of fun or has at least one good extra I'd be happy. Earthworm Jim 3D wasn't exactly, well, good, but for $1.50 it'd be worth revisiting again, as well as listening to the soundtrack, and I might discover I quite like one of the games I'm less interested in.

SLP2000: Well, looks like we'll get Interplay promo in the end, if GOG is going to do the same thing as they did with JoWood.
I hope so, if this happens Roman would stop begging.

A company's in financial trouble, and may disappear from the roster...but everyone's dicking around waiting for a sale that may or may not happen....to save a few pennies per game...?

O_o

It's not like Gogs are $30+ each, they're a few quid!! Buy 1 a week!

I've been thinking of buying the Castles pack for ages....never played the 1st one, but C2 I really enjoyed back in the day. $5.99 / £3.64

I've got Fallout1+2, and Freespace1+2. They were my first 4 Gogs I ever bought. 800 days ago. Never been really sure about FO:Tactics.

Of the rest, only Shattered Steel remotely interests me.... $5.99 / £3.64.

So what the hey. Castles 1+2 for now, methinks!

Edit : Okay, £3.75 through PayPal....obviously not using Xe.com for the exchange rate...

But.. but... we may be getting a Lucasarts sale this week!
Which is why I'm not buying both at the same time! I've got enough for another $9.99 Gog until Saturday ^_^
I'd kinda prefer Theme Hospital from EA though :D

Rosstifer1712: I think GOG needs to get the Star Trek games that Interplay developed. 25th Anniversary was one of their biggest sellers and this will really help them out. You release that and your gonna be getting a lot of Trekkies purchasing which would be a good thing for Interplay for the short term.
Yes Yes.

$5.99 x 10 = $60.

What part of Buy 1 a week did you not get? :D

I'm just saying $60 is high enough to want a sale on.
Time for a GOG's Interplay sale, then.

Oh I thought you were trying to show how it was too expensive for some people to buy them all. My bad.

Is Roman banned or what? This seems about the time he should show up and post the deadhorse pics.

It might not make much difference. Activision already has the rights to Redneck Rampage from back when Vivendi bought the IP, and I can't imagine Bethesda putting up too much of a fight since GoG's proven itself more than viable as a means of selling the classics. The only real concern would be EWJ and MDK, both of which I wouldn't be surprised to see bought out by one of the companies already on GoG.

Probably the part where we may not even get the chance to buy them all if they go under before that happens.

They said the same for jowood though, and they're still here......is all i;m saying.
They do NEED the money... so I don't think they'd take the games so rapidly.

But what a stupid way to spend their income... 3DS and facebook games, really? and what else other than remakes/ports are they doing?
