Am I the only one who hopes we might see the Legend of Kyrandia trilogy someday? O:-)
Yay! I get a go at this.

ARGLEBEH!
Eh, but I Googled it and noticed that it was made by Westwood, which I hope we will have receive a catalog from eventually.
i dont know if this counts as a beg thread
notice he asked about forum member interest, not about why gog doesn't have the game in question

Indeed. No need to jump all over this guy. This isn't a beg thread as such.
Personally, I'd love to see the Kyrandia games here someday. AFAIK, ScummVM supports them now, so the practical side of it should be very easy for GOG. Still, the practical side of it is always the easy part. It's the licensing that's the problem.

That would be awesome.
I just looked at Westwood's back-catalog, and not only do I have fond memories of most of their games (especially Mars Saga / Mines of Titan, Lands of Lore and Nox), but they ported most of my favourite Epyx games to the Amiga.
It's almost a shame that C&C was such a runaway success.

Even DOSBox supports them, so getting them running would be easy indeed.
And I'd love to see Kyrandia on GOG too, especially the first two parts :)

When will it be my turn to do this? :(

Wait, young Padawan.
Legend of Kyrandia was one of best game I have saw in past. Thumbs up for it!
Prediction: Kyrandia will likely be in the fourth run. Hopefully this third EA run will continue the series that started in the 2nd run: Wing Commander (at least WC4) and Ultima, as well as a couple surprises. I'm enjoying the ride and after all these weeks of lesser known (but often still excellent) releases and skip-Thursdays, it's exciting to have another EA run. There are so many potential classics. I hope they have a fourth run, a fifth run, and on, and on until the whole EA Classics catalog is here.

I trust GOG to (as Star Trek's Captain Picard would say) "Make it so."
EDIT: Oh no, my mistake.

SirPrimalform: EDIT: Oh no, my mistake.
When I saw Romulus's post, I was like "Yay dude where've you been" ...

Then it occurred to me that I must either be hallucinating in my usual fantasy dream land, or there's a necro, because there's no way he can afford the time these days to frequent the forums. And true enough ...

(Oops I'm doing it too.)

I loved that witch from Kyrandia 2. She was so perky and sarcastic. One of the best female video game characters ever. Most of the contemporary female video game characters are so serious, dark and depressing.

The three Kyrandia games, on the other hand, were so-so.

I didn't even notice it was a necro (it was about 6:30 am) at the time. :P
