No from what i can see of the update on steam its all creation club content.

I got the installer and the game on my pc and a backup on my external hdd. You can update it. I will not.
And I don't have gog galaxy.

then Bethesda either forget to add it to the creation club the makeshift weapons pack and Halloween decor or something like that ... Why else would it not be on creation club those two? Then add to how Skyrims free cc was handled they in a update added somethings free but all creation club stuff that was free had to be downloaded .. so I think a miscommunication on the update is going on or they changed plans .. see if the stuff wasn't tossed in in the update I wouldn't be arguing here given CC stuff has been locked behind microtransactions and a bethesda account .Yet the tossed in content here all needed was to update aside from the prior released stuff

I think you need to take the chill pill. I am not sure if you are that despered to get an update that will break all your mods just to gain and few useless bug fixes and a few new items or you really just think that GOG have done something terrible here (which they haven't). I mean you do realise this is a store and Bethesda does not work for them right ? GOG got probably the exact same information we got from the patch notes and we had to ask someone to actually test in the game so we can be sure SURE what is going on here. Or you think Bethesda from all companies on the planet would sent them a very infromative e-mail what will the patch include and if it's behinde DRM? Yea maybe think again...

I think these are the two? or at least i think the second is part of one.

Either way, i now would even more prefer the update not include this content so we can see just how pitiful this update is going to be.

There are two different Creation Club Content being confused here:

· One is the free content added by Bethesda (the ones listed in the changelog for this new Next-Gen update).
· The other is the ingame Creation Club Content STORE that you need to use CC credits to get any content.

My guess is GOG is working to remove the second one, the STORE, not the free content added by the update.

I think if an update was not affected by DRM and someone, who has been in the field as long as GOG has, completely missed it then yeah it needs to be addressed now before it affects something bigger possibly, down the line. Its called preventative measures. You would know this if you werent busy brown nosing. Now, as another piece of info, I dont care about mods, I prefer to play vanilla so when updates do happen, I dont have to redownload mods. So theres that. And no I dont trust any company because in the end, the company doesnt care about the consumer. Only the bottom line in the end regardless of what the consumer wants. Thats sort of a given. So, it would probably be best if you "take a chill pill". Dont give too much leeway to any company regardless if they are Gog, Bethesda etc. So think again next time you decide to reply.

Atleast the melee weapon one isn't that as the weapon pack being talking about has a sawblade launcher, piggy bank launcher,grenade launchers, a baseball launcher and a , nail gun .. the Halloween pack unsure about that as haven't touched that content yet

I hope that this is the correct path being taken. If it is, then it should have been communicated better in the initial post.

I just bought GOG version of Fallout 4 to play Fall out London, but have not yet downloaded F4. if devs of Fallout London can't reconcile their mod with the new update, would GOG refund purchase of a game not downloaded? I have no interest in playing vanilla F4 again, but Fallout London intrigues me.

Clearly you don't or you refuse to for some reason. GOG being " in the field as long" as it is has nothing to do with this. First this is a patch not a new game being released. GOG may or may not had any infomation infront what the patch would include and Bethesda may or may not care at all since they have Steam first, then their own MS store, new release on Epic, the consoles - where the PS updade is actually not working so they work on a fix there and then GOG probably at the very end. From there GOG logically would get the new information when the patch came out (obviously they did not get it from Bethesda ) which was 7-8 hours ago. Now I know in the US that was mid day but here in Europe that was very late, in Poland probably around 8 PM which means we wont get any updates until tomorrow.

And please follow your own advices next time when you decide to reply and use words like and I quote" imbecile"... Its just rude.

The refund policy should cover you for the next 30 days. Should be not an issue if you don't download it. But I have a feeling the London mod may take a while since it is a big mod and currenrly there are issues with the patch on Steam. Another issue is GOG does not even have the patch yet and we are not even sure how it will be handled.

You can refund the game within 30 days for any reason. Personally, I would never buy a game just for a mod, but that's an entirely different matter.

FO4 provides plenty of entertainment of its own for the sale price. Hell, I got plenty value out of the piddly $10 I paid when it first came to GOG. A thoroughly enjoyable 140-some hour run of the game in its vanilla state is nothing to sneeze at.

Will you be able to manually download the patch or do I have to reinstall the entire game with the new version. I am playing on a Mac via crossover. So I am not using Galaxy.
