How does one survive the road to Talmberg?

Use sprint while on the horse as soon as possible, and keep sprinting and zig-zagging. First two or three times I got picked off by the archers swiftly, on the last try they only landed maybe one arrow on me.

For the record, we are talking about Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Nothing to do with the ride itself, but don't neglect to save her before going off.

Look for the wizard before you leave town.

Awww damnit really? I heard her screaming and I totally wussed out. I had spent like two nights of gameplay trying (and finally beating!) the lone guard that chases you when you first start down the path.

I figured there was no way I was going to rescue her so I just took off. Felt even worse when I had to admit I ran away to save my own skin.

How hard was it to do? Tough fight? Dialogue? Feel free to PM if it goes into spoiler territory.

It can be very easy if you know a few things. You don't need to kill them to save her and you don't need to hang around one second more than necessary. That should give you an idea of what to do and there are more than one way to do it. If anyone wants specifics, feel free to message me. It's more than just that. ;P
