Is there a way to play previous versions of a game when using the offline installers?

I understand that Galaxy has a feature that allows playing previous versions of games.

However, I use the offline installers and do not use Galaxy. I also play on Linux and therefore do not have access to Galaxy.

In theory.
If you stored the older offline installers somewhere (HDD, DVD) while they were still available.
I suspect gog keeps older versions. But as customers would actually download them all and get confused, then pester Support. They dont supply every version publicly.

Doubt it would help, but you could contact support and ask them for a specific version of a game you own. Stating it functioned before an update. But you probably wont get it anyway.
Heroic Games Launcher has this feature.

Go to "Modify Installation"->"Keep game at version" and select your version.
