I have checked numerous times in the past year or so and have never seen anything being offered.

Please let me know so I can stop wasting time if that is what I have been doing.

Thank You
Games added to connect generally come with an announcement, so there's probably little reason to check the page regularly.
Connect drops have been considerately more sparse over time, though that might very well be due few publishers agreeing with a connect promo rather than GOG having completely abandoned it.

It only happens on big sales and in the last ones it rarely offered games, instead the bet is in galaxy 2.0.
No, not really...but you might see a game or two pop up on it once in a blue moon, which happens very rarely to never.

But definitely you shouldn't be thinking that one day you will have tons of games added to your account via GOG Connect. That will never happen, and if you tell yourself it will, then you are just giving yourself delusional false hope in a reality that will never occur.

Why would the publishers even agree to it since they don't profit from it? Or does GOG pay off their 70% cut? If so, why not just straight up give the game away for eveyone?

I don't know why GOG connect wasn't used for the Witcher 3 giveaway back in the day

Because the main goal of this one was to make people use (and maybe even want) Galaxy. So they needed the requirement to "connect " with Galaxy and GOG connect does not need Galaxy at all.

Don't think that Devs would want to through away possible revenue. There are ppl, like myself that would not mind buying the games again to have them DRM free.

I like to keep my games at hand in a Hard drive for archiving purposes.
I don't remember the last time they had a big list of games on it.
I hope not. People should have bought those games here to begin with where this was possible, and, while I don't have access to metrics, I see no tangible benefit for GOG to having this program at this point. In theory, one would assume the idea of Connect was to entice Scheme customers here to get a free GOG copy of their game and then get them to buy other stuff here, i.e. stuff not available on Connect/Scheme. My impression is that Scheme users came here for the free copies but didn't go on to buy enough other stuff or at least not in a way that made a tangible difference from how they were buying here prior to the Connect program.
Thank you for the replies fellows - that will help
GOG Galaxy 2.0 is the future of GOG Connect I think. The Witcher 3 giveaway with GOG Galaxy was a test.
W3?!! Did I miss a W3 giveaway? No Galaxy for Linux but I could have plugged in my old pc and installed there (if Windows 7 is Galaxy compatible).
