What are the 5 best games that you have played that have an install size of 50MB or less?
There are so many! Are you asking because you need the space or just out of interest to see oldies and new small indies?

Quest for Glory series (except for IV and V all first three fit), Eye of the Beholder.

Careful, you can get huge lists out of us old timers with that "generous" install size.

Off the top of my head, I can think of:
- Tyrian 2000
- OMF 2097
- Dyna Blaster
- Pushover
- Volfied

Dwarf Fortress
Civilization 1
Bio Menace
Transport Tycoon Deluxe with OpenTTD
UFO: Enemy Unknown with OpenXCom
"Install size" = size of the offline installer here on Gog?

if so:
1.) A legionary's life (44MB).
2.) Dark forces (44MB)
3.) Dark Sun: Shattered lands (20MB)

Can't think of more right now.

Way too many DOS ones to even shortlist. Probably : Cyber Empires (1992), Doom 1-2 (1993-1994), Frontier: Elite 2 (1993), Heretic (1994), and Lemmings 1-2 (1991-1994).
Master of Orion
Tetris

Unsure about a lot of games whether they fit in and have problems finding information about their size.
1. The Secret of Monkey Island (original version, sadly not available for purchase)
2. DOOM
3. Eye of the Beholder
4. Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures (basic installation, hacked modules tend to let it grow over the limit)
5. The Binding of Isaac
Only 5?

Super Metroid (A whopping 3 MB)
Secret of Mana
Soul Blazer
Exile II: The Crystal Souls/Avernum 2 OG (Take your pick, they're both under 10 MB apiece.)
Castle of the WInds.

Castles 1 + 2
Darklands
Cat ( An old dos game that is now forgotten)
The hitchikers guide to the galaxy
The first game that I ever played: prince of persia (1989)
Hard to know just how large the installed size is unless you have them installed at the moment (and then, is that with or without DOSBox where needed?)

If the answers above are correct, then Quest for Glory 2 and 3 and Transport Tycoon Deluxe would go somewhere on my list too, though couldn't say if top 5 if removing the nostalgia glasses.

Otherwise, not sure if Colonization might fit, says 51 Mb here.
Early The Incredible Machine games, up to 3 apparently?

Others not on GOG... Supaplex? Stunts? The Lost Vikings?

Original Colonization is way under 50mb - it's installer bloat plus probably scanned manuals driving that one up.
Does this include 8/16 bit roms? The largest of which is something like 8Mb (even tacking on a 1Mb emulator that's under 50)

Hmmm...

I'll go with Xixit.

You can always check the GOG store page, it lists install sizes. And in case of Dosbox games, just -20MB, to account for the Dosbox installation.

The only one out of those I listed that one can do that for is Colonization. Four others aren't on GOG and the remaining three are here as bundles.
And what if the installer size also includes extras?
