From my understanding the games are only thematically linked, though the protagonists from Downfall make a cameo apparance in The Cat Lady.

i don't really think it's a prequel in any meaningful way. it's just the game the dev made first. that said, i went for the cat lady because it's been in my library forever.

Downfall came first, and Downfall Redux was developed after The Cat Lady.

The Cat Lady is awesome. Have you seen all 4 endings?
