GREAT GAME
It's on Amazon used for about 5 USD.

As far as why it's not here, it's Microsoft.
Dungeon Siege

As to why it's not on GOG, well, I'd say Square Enix doesn't want to sell it here. I'd love to get it and the expansion here.

You misspelled Square Enix.

Square Enix isn't in any kind of hurry to release it here.
If you look around online, a digital copy can be found on sale right now for $1.39.

Yeah, too bad these games aren't here on GOG.

Last time I buy hardware on G2A!
If you wanted (or resigned) to buy it on Steam, just wait till their upcoming summer sale. You can buy the whole collection for extremely cheap.
damn, i so wish those were here. awesome games.

square enix, you're stupid and i hate your face.
Thanks everyyyybody :)
Am I the only one who thought it dragged a little in the middle?

And I've never played #2. Can anyone comment on that? How does it compare to #1?
Looked up the entire series. ATM if you want all three games individually, you would be paying a little over $6 US. I'd post exactly where, but not certain about GOG's policy regarding that.

Dungeon Siege 2 has a great intro(with some awesome musical score), a great story, nice environments, etc. They also have a bunch of cool things like "skill towers"(you enter and if your skill in one of the four skills is high enough you can "attack" one of the doors and access an area and get loot...each tower has four different doors, one for each combat/spell skill), chanting shrines(type in a chant you learned from your list and get buffs), and ghosts to talk to(when you learn the proper skill you can go back to them and talk to them/access some new areas.

There is also a bestiary/glossary of info on various things like game features/areas/etc to read as you kill more enemies of a certain type/find new areas/discover new game features/etc.

It has some flaws, though, like: checkpoint saves(your progress is linked to the last teleport you reached in-game), respawning monsters in areas you already cleared out, etc. Also the expansion(of sorts) is only on PSP.

Read above(I know you said not to reply to you, but I felt you might like this info or be able to use it).

If one is looking to buy all 3, they are bundled for $4.99 US on fanatical currently:

https://www.fanatical.com/en/bundle/dungeon-siege-pack

(Edit to clarify: steam keys, as per fanatical's usual)

Steam has (or at least had) DS 1-2. but IIRC they are missing the expansion packs. So you get only the base games IIRC.
Dungeon Siege on Steam is DRM free, also this guide shows how to get the missing expansion: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1148174213
