Hi,

I'm not sure if this is intended but I would expect GOG to install the GOG version as default instead of the steam version if the game is available on both platforms.

I always have to manually switch to the gog version of the game in Galaxy if I want to install it. It should be the default.

Steps to reproduce:

Have a game on both platforms. Click in Galaxy to install. It will install the steam version by default.
Did a google search for this above issue, and am sad to see that there's no replies... I'm having the same issue, as I don't know how to remove the steam connection so that I only have the gog option, or just have it default to the gog install... as if I'm trying to install it through gog, I want the gog version and not a different one.

Does anyone know of a fix for this, or is it just forever a thing even after 4 years?
there is no fix because the issue is bullshit... Galaxy allows you to set the default when you have two or more copies so fpr example i have BG2EE on both Gog and Beamdog but Beamdog is the default because the Gog copy was buggy for such a long time [they both work correct now]
