I have tried logging into gog galaxy today and it wont let me. I can still log into the website just fine, and I even changed my password, and was able to log into the website with those credentials. But when logging into galaxy, it would say "Launching GOG Galaxy" and then just send me straight back to the login screen. It does not give me an "incorrect password" message or anything like that. I am using 2.0 if that means anything. Is there anything I can do? I also sent a message to support letting them know of my issue.

Same issue here. I thought it was me at first, I just installed it on new system. Then I thought might be the servers down for a bit. but its been over 24 hours. :(

I happens to me almost all the time now.
Galaxy 1.2.67 is fine, Galaxy 2.0 may work after several reinstalls or reboots.

I had no problems this morning, but now my main PC can't log in. My other PCs can connect no problem.

Update: And now it works.

Yesterday - without errors, login window restarted (enter password)
Today - "Oops! Something went wrong. Click below to log in to GOG Galaxy" with no clickable options

I was able to login (it was keep asking me for a password all the time, even had to reset it), but now it shows that I have 0 games in my library and it cannot see any of my installed games. Added Cyberpunk manually, so now it is my only game in Galaxy :D
All actions like 'friends list' gives me "Cannot load, please try again".
Any hints what to do to fix the issue? tried to re-install/reboot, but it didn't help.

Well. It's not working again. I guess it's time to make a bug report. Let's hope it will help everyone.

Same broblem. Cant login 2 days ago. Then connect yesterday, but in begining show 0 games. After 3 hours they finaly show, reinstail my Cyberpunk. And today the infinity loop of login screen again. (Sorry for my bad grammatic ^~^ )

My problem was solved by tech. support. But from time to time Galaxy can't log in. Maybe they need more reports to localise the problem.

Looks like Gog Galaxy is down again. I keep entering my correct password to login, and it just throws me back to the login dialog box and asks me to enter my password again. I've reset my password a couple times and even uninstalled and reinstalled the Galaxy 2.0 version to no avail. I've lodged a trouble ticket with the Gog support team, but if anybody has any other suggestions that might help, I'm all ears!

4 month thread necro, but still relevant... GOG Galaxy froze up upon exiting after updating Wasteland 3 to the newest 1.6.1 hotfix release, had to kill process(es) tree via Process Explorer.

Attempted to re-run GalaxyClient.exe, related .exe(s)/processes all froze up yet again. Decided to update to the latest GOG Galaxy release (2.0.43 Beta, was previously on 2.0.41 Hotfix).

Got an warning/error message along the lines of 'missing components'; ignored it and tried again, this time I got the recurring 'have to keep re-inputting login/password, can't bypass step' error.

Ended up deleting the contents of C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy AND completely uninstalling, and then re-installing GOG Galaxy (2.0.4.3 Beta, in all likelihood), got same series of errors.
