I've been tinkering with 2.0 for most of the day today, and I am very impressed by what I see so far!

That being said, I hope GOG will add the option to remove game icons from your library. I actually don't care for the circular icons (or the box icons), so it would be nice to have a text only option. It might be boring to some, but I like it.

What?

Zoidberg: What?
Take a look at the screenshots that I included in this post. I hate Steam, but I'll use them as an example.

GOG includes the circular games icons (which I don't like), so it would be nice to have the option to turn them off.

Oh you want a full list, without the icons?

Yah, I think I just prefer the minimalist style. I'm not a fan of the circular icons because they look a bit dated for my taste. I do actually like the box art option, but I find it difficult to navigate through my game list.

How come the icons looks dated? Also why is it difficult to navigate through your games list?

My opinion on the icons is just a personal preference (I think they look dated, like they're from the early 2000's). It gets difficult to navigate my games list on Grid mode because I have a lot of games, so it's just easier to navigate my games using the list function.

Well, maybe you could try bookmarking some so the lists you are browsing are smaller. Like a backlog or multiplayer games etc...

It's a bit time consuming, but that's actually an excellent suggestion! Thanks!

It's a first step to filter then you can put a bit of the game name you're searching, etc.
