I had the pleasure of finishing all of these games years ago. They need to be here because they are good old games. I really wish all of KONAMI's games, especially the Castlevania titles, were here on the GOG store because I trust this store and support the initiative to preserve games forever. And I also believe that we as consumers have the right to truly own what we buy.
This Castlevania collection was produced by game developer M2, the same company behind the Contra Anniversary Collection, which is available for purchase here on the store, which is another reason for it to be here.
I played the GBA Castlevanias to freaking death. Especially Aria of Sorrow. Given this collection has been on Steam for peanuts for a while, I can see it coming to GOG with no DRM.
HeimdallHeimdall is an action-adventure computer game developed by a team called The 8th Day and published by Core Design.
The game is set in the world of Vikings and Norse mythology. Loki steals Odin's sword, Freyr's spear and Thor's hammer, rendering them powerless. They decide to create an infant, the title character (named after the god of the same name), who must bring back the three legendary weapons.
The game sees Heimdall and his crew travelling around an archipelago of islands in three different maps: Utgard, Midgard and Asgard. They travel engaging monsters in combat, interacting with the locals, solving puzzles and avoiding traps, a blend of styles somewhat similar to that found in the Legend of Zelda games. The cartoon-style action is viewed in the isometric perspective.Action Historical
