by Konami, Tec Toy
Genres:Adventure, Platform
Themes:Action
Game modes:Single player
Story:Time refuses to forget the Belmont family's horrifying, bloody destiny. And in 1917 two of its descendants are summoned by fate into epic battle. Their enemy? The most evil incarnation of Castlevania legacy to ever rise from the grave, the vampiress Countess Bartley. This spine-tingling, 6-stage fear-fest overflows with graphic sights and sounds from your worst nightmares. As John Morris, the whip wielding vampire hunter, or Eric Lecarde, master lanceman, you'll pursue the demonic Countess all across Europe before she resurrects Dracula for a final reign of global terror. Alas, her trail of doom is laden with zombies, hideous mutants, grotesque giants, ghouls and ghastly creatures. Taste the sweat dripping into your mouth as you try rescuing yourself from diabolical traps. Feel the torturous strain on every muscle as you wield again and again sacred weapon power-ups such as Holy Water, the Battle Axe, the Crystal Blade Boomerang and the Mirror of Truth. But in the end, make sure you've saved enough strength to scream!Show more

This might come as a huge surprise. Castlevania: Bloodlines was my favorite Castlevania game within Castlevania Anniversary Collection. Not because it's the solo Sega Castlevania game I'm not that bias. No because what it brought to the table. You get to play as two hunters. John Morris whose essentially the Belmont in the game. Eric Lecarde has the Alucard Spear. Personally I prefer playing as Eric more. He gets a longer reach that's helpful. Also he gets this awesome high jump as well. I'm not saying John sucks by any means. It just the typical Belmont experience when you're him. I actually liked we get to explore through the country. Eventually working our way into Dracula's castle. Yes they did try bringing two canons together. Castlevania canon with that of Dracula novel canon that strikingly works. This is among the goriest classic Castlevania games. Which can differ on that depending on region versions. Some of the visuals late into the game fantastic work. It's sorta like a particular stage in Rocket Knight Adventures also by Konami. What I love about this is unlike most classic Castlevania games. There isn't an timer meaning I can take longer to get through the stages. The artwork is truly amazing. The audio as a whole beautifully done. This game is between overlooked simply by other Castlevania games or not a lot of people knows of it's existence. I hope Castlevania Anniversary Collection and Sega Genesis Mini 1 fixed that problem. Some of my favorite versions for the bosses. Mostly The Creature actually is my favorite version of the character. The last stage you gotta bring it to beat the game. It's a shame this was the only solo Sega Castlevania game. Yes I know about Sega Saturn port of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Not quite the same thing here. Some even argue this is way better than that port.

PlayStation Move Heroes
PlayStation Move HeroesThe game offers both single-player and two-player cooperative multiplayer modes as players progress through a series of levels. Featuring six playable characters—Ratchet, Clank, Jak, Daxter, Sly Cooper, and Bentley—the game comprises a total of 50 levels categorized into five "archetypes", five weapon classes, and four environments. These environments include Paris from Sly Cooper & Bentley, Metropolis City on Kerwan from Ratchet & Clank, Haven City from Jak and Daxter, and Planet X, an original game-created environment. Players have the flexibility to choose their character for each level, with each character offering a distinct gameplay style and potential advantages on specific levels. In cooperative play, the second player assumes the role of the first player's sidekick character. For instance, if the first player selects Jak, the second player automatically becomes Daxter. The five weapon classes—Disc, Whip, Bowling, Projectile, and Melee—each bring a unique gameplay element. The Disc is thrown akin to a frisbee, with players controlling its navigation remotely using the Move controller to achieve objectives like hitting moving targets. The Whip is operated via the Move controller with 1-to-1 movement. Bowling functions similarly to the Disc, where players throw a bowling ball and guide it using the Move controller. Projectiles involve various guns and weapons, such as grenade launchers. Melee utilizes each character's distinctive weapons—Sly's cane, Ratchet's wrench, or Jak's gunstaff—to engage enemies in a manner reminiscent of their original games.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's RequiemEternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is a psychological horror action adventure, released in 2002 by Nintendo for the Gamecube. It tells the stories of twelve characters that span across the world and two millennia who have to deal with ancient forces of evil which have been trying to manifest themselves in our world. Chapters take place in Ancient Rome, Persia, the Middle East, and modern-day Rhode Island. Throughout the game, the protagonists will have access to several weapons appropriate for their era, from bastard sword & gladius to flintlock pistol and shotgun. The game features an involved Magic system, which allows different spells to be created through the combination of runes. These spells can attack enemies, dispel illusions, and heal both the body and items. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem also has a unique feature called Sanity. If an enemy sees a character, their Sanity meter drops. When Sanity gets low, hallucinations begin to plague the character. Walls bleed, voices whisper from nowhere, the camera gets disoriented. Sanity can be restored by dealing a finishing move on a dying enemy, or with spells or some items.
