Like the previous two games, D2 stars the digital actress Laura and serves as an independent story unrelated to either game. D2 is also WARP's final game before changing their name to "Superwarp" and transitioning from video game development to online network services in August, 2001.Show more

Truly a unique and mind-bending horror title from Kenji Eno's team at WARP (see also: D, Enemy Zero) that was only originally released on the Dreamcast. A true gem that's been stuck on the Dreamcast and unavailable for over 25 years since it's original release. Could really use a revival and re-release for the general public. A real shame it hasn't been seen available, or anyone talk about it in the open for years. Please, take a chance on this one & share it with the world once more.

D2 is one of those incredibly Y2K era surrealist environmentalist think piece games that is sadly stuck in obscurity because it's never been ported off of Dreamcast. It is amazing a mix of resident evil in the snow with house of the dead fighting mechanics. D1 and enemy zero both have working pc ports, but d2 the absolute powerhouse ending of the trilogy doesn't. And that's. Shame because it could easily find it's place as the cult classic it deserves to be
When D The Game was released on the Sega Saturn I really enjoyed it. I was excited to hear when D2 was going to be released on the Dreamcast back in 1999 or 2000 but was disappointed to discover it was released only in USA and Japan and not released in Europe as I live in the UK. I would love to see this coming to GOG if it happens.

I grew up with D2 on Sega Dreamcast. The history leading up to it is quite interesting. How close we were getting a vastly different game. This was the longest Dreamcast game I owned with four discs. Years later, I learned this was party of a rather unusual trilogy of games that shares some of the same actors. It's like Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy. An unusual movie trilogy made out of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End. D2 shares many similarities with The Thing movie. A game based on that game came out a few years later. You get to explore the locations as well as hunt animals. You also deal with random encounters. Suddenly this is a little similar to Parasite Eve series. A lot of people missed out on this. More recently people becoming more aware this game exists. This is such a weird mixture of game play styles that kinda works. Most fans felt D2 was the best of the trilogy. You get a game that attempted ahead it's time before indie developers perfected it. D2 packs a lot of content across those discs. I would love to play it this again on GOG. I always had a notable interest in this game for years. The world simply won't be prepare for this.

I played the original "D" game on a Goldstar 3DO and has been a fan of Warp ever since. D2 is an extremely rare game to find...even searching "alternative" sources back in the day. I was brought to a very good place when GOG released the original D years back, truly revived lost media for a lot of us minus the original game and console. D2's GOG release would be icing on the cake...big ups GOG for...everything!, really means a lot to us making these classics accessible again...GOTY style🤗👍👍👍

Shining Force III: 2nd Scenario
Shining Force III: 2nd ScenarioScenario 2, Target: Child of God, features Medion, Prince of Destonia, and youngest of three sons of Emperor Domaric. Although loyal to his father and his country, he senses that there are other forces at work beneath the tensions between Aspinia and Destonia. He attends the conference in Saraband on behalf of Destonia, along with his brothers Arrawnt and Mageron. As discovered in Scenario 1, much of this influence comes from the Bulzome sect, as well as collaborating separatist factions within both Destonia and Aspinia. Medion works parallel to Synbios of Aspinia, often disposing of rogue Aspinian elements to spare Synbios's force from fighting against its own countrymen. At the end of the game, Medion is forced to battle with Synbios' force when Julian steps in to stop them.

Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy VIIIFinal Fantasy VIII is the eighth main installment in the Final Fantasy series. The gameplay makes a departure from many series standards. While it still uses the Active Time Battle system, it deviates from the series' traditional means of boosting a character's power via leveling, although levels are not completely abandoned as they were in Final Fantasy II. In addition, it does not have a Magic Point-based system for spell-casting. Instead, magic is collected, drawn, and created from items, and is used to power up the characters via the junction system.
