Story:Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 is a sports spin-off game in the Dead or Alive series and the sequel to Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. The title expands upon the activities available in the original, supplementing beach volleyball with additional beach-related minigames. DOAX2 features a two-week vacation mode, where the player can indulge in a variety of activities. Each day is broken up into three segments (morning, afternoon, and evening), where players can perform a single activity during each. The game puts a strong emphasis on friendship; players must befriend the other girls by buying them gifts they enjoy from the various stores on the island, playing pool-hopping and playing butt battles. Doing so will increase the bond between the two characters.Show more

My covid19 lockdown game. Played it out of morbid curiosity and nostalgia for the first one. Stayed for how much I enjoyed the chill vibe around the sunny island and just playing the waveracer game over and over. The latter is rather barebones and with not a lot of content. Not even multiplayer. But I loved playing it nonetheless. Really hoped they would've expanded upon that in later entries but alas. Sad to see how the series now is just gacha style slotmachines with no gameplay. Especially because DOAX 1 taught me as a kid never to gamble.

Big bazooga make me go awooga. There's booba, beach, gambling, wave race, cute outfits. What more could you ask for? I know! You can ask for it to come to PC.
Out of all my DOAX games, the second one has to be the best. The water effects alone were mind blowing for the Mid 2000's on xbox 360 hardware. Itagaki has stated that getting the water physics correct was a job in itself and the game speaks for itself with all the attention to detail and love that was put into it. It's a fun and relaxing game with the DOA girls and having a custom soundtrack doesn't hurt either. All in all, it was a fun time and if it's released then you'll might enjoy it as well.

Shining Blade
Shining BladeThis is a Japan-only game in the Shining franchise. The game's battle system is called "Concerto", and is a strategic real time battle system similar to the ones found in Sakura Wars and Valkyria Chronicles. The player make use of swords, bows and magic in a battle system that places importance on character cooperation—hence the name "Concerto". The player forms a party of up to five for battle. The game will have damage based on character position, and items collected upon defeating enemies. The songstresses are special members of the player's battle party. By performing their magic song, they can achieve various effects on battle—blocking enemies from moving, increasing characters' move count, making hasten the party's pace. Some songs can even be used for attack. Using the songs requires Mana Energy. The game also has inter-character relationships. Depending on the player's selections during event scenes, movements and usage of group skills during battle, the characters' relationships will change.
