I remember Doctor Who: The Adventure Games fondly for its engaging narratives that weren’t possible in the show back in 2010. It featured original compelling stories that tried to replicate the episodic format of the show. Players primarily controlled the Eleventh Doctor and his companions at the time which were Amy Pond and Rory Williams. Early episodes enabled fans to face off against iconic aliens from the show like the Daleks and Cyberman in stories heavily inspired by their serials in the 1960s. However, later episodes in the game become more ambitious even featuring returning aliens (Vashta Nerada and the Rutans) we never got see Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor interact with in the actual show. The game’s also packed with collectibles, easter eggs and references to both classic and modern Doctor Who up until 2011. As a Whovian, I’m jealous that Star Wars and Star Trek have so much of their gaming libraries preserved and accessible across GOG and Steam. Doctor Who currently doesn’t have that luxury. Regardless of overall quality, the brands past games deserve to be preserved.
Awesome game featuring the Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith! Would love to see this on GOG, considering you can't get it anymore on Steam. This game features several "Episodes" as it were where you travel in the TARDIS with Amy and the Doctor. It features great exploration, neat puzzle segments, fun stealth elements and tons of adventure.

Sonic Advance 2
Sonic Advance 2Sonic returns for a second outing on the Game Boy Advance. Once again, Sonic is called upon to save the world from the evil Dr. Eggman. On this occasion, Sonic is joined by friends Tails, Knuckles and Cream the Rabbit, the latest addition to the Sonic team. Each comes with a set of unique moves, allowing you to reach certain areas through-out the levels. However, unlike Sonic Advance, you must complete the game as Sonic to unlock the other characters. Chaos Emeralds and Special Rings litter the stages. To collect the emeralds (transforming Sonic into Super Sonic for the final battle with Dr. Eggman), you must find the special rings hidden in each stage to unlock the bonus stage. Complete the bonus stage and the emerald is yours. You'll also get the chance to collect and raise chaos, and trade them over to Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on GameCube, through the use of the GBA/GC link cable.
