Please add this wonderful game and fix the multiplayer mode. This games is so underrated and has a lot of un material as gameplay and units and strategy warfare.
Dominion storm of the gift 3 засосёт вас , так как она поистине шедевральна! Не проходите мимо!
I remember this was the first RTS game I ever played. It was a cold wintery Christmas, and my cousins showed me this game after we opened presents on my grandma's computer. The wintery ambient sounds went right with the view outside. The atmosphere was amazing, a desolate land with a small expeditionary force fighting on a remote backwater planet boasting an incredible technology. It is possible that to this day, I have never heard a better game sound track than from this game, the ambient and the active music were amazing. Similarly, even though the 4 playable races were relatively similar the gameplay was fast and intense. The economy was simple; refineries built on energy wells and a power grid to manage building placement, it left your primary focus on unit control, finding and securing additional resources, and base defenses. That's not to say you could forget about the resource management, resources were tight enough that you had to be sure what units and upgrades you choose. The units had many more options like going prone, scattering, auto recon, that no other game of its class had to my knowledge, far ahead of its time. I think this was originally released as a competitor to Star Craft and Tiberian Sun, it was delayed heavily by the original company being bought up and that combined with poor advertising left this as a forgotten gem. I still have the original box, that opened like aboard game and came with a comic about humans fighting to survive in the universe. One of my favorite games for sure.
This was my first RTS experience in my childhood, not Command and Conquer or Starcraft like for most my age. Fun and simple were the order of the day and this game did not disappoint in that aspect. It was perfect for a total RTS amateur or novice to grasp the basics of RTS combat. Once Starcraft came out I was wiping the floor with my friends over BattleNet because I had built up a lot of experience playing this game in particular. Bring it back in a remaster like CnC, please. Not a remake or re-release, but remaster this game's graphics, fix the very few bugs that it had and give it a good strong updated UI that is simple and uncomplicated. A winning formula, keeping it simple is. 'Nuff Yoda wisdom, bring it back, 'nuff said.

I complitely forgot that I played this game when I was a kid. Atomsphere was very captivating for someone who loved Westwood strategy games. One of better games to use C&C formula plus factions have interesting design.

Dominion: SOG3 is at the top of my shortlist of childhood favorites! Some of my greatest middle school friendships were formed over the love of this game. Sure, we played all the awesome classics like the C&C series, Age of Empires, Warcraft, Dune II & 2000, Dark Reign, StarCraft, Total Annihilation, etc... but something about this game was magical. The umbilical system for base building was a fun nuance to me and it's the first time that I really came to appreciate the tactical value of cheap and plentiful vs expensive and durable faction units. The game play was fun and just the right amount of challenging for a pre-teen. It's a good example of a mid to late 1990's RTS with the typical formula: build your base, repel enemy incursions, amass your forces, and steamroll their base (simple, the way I like it). On a personal note- I enjoyed the soundtrack, which, oddly enough, reminds me of my favorite childhood dog. She was sick one day and resting on the couch while I was playing this game. At some point, I paused the game, sat down with her on the couch and comforted her for a while as the music played in the background. As a child absorbed in my own world, it's the first time that I remember being completely focused on caring for another and this soundtrack cements that wonderful memory. It warms my heart to know that this game has touched other lives and left lasting, joyful memories. Bringing this game back would be nothing short of a public service and should be part of every young RTS lover's "basic training". I've only written a handful of reviews in my entire life and I am thankful to have the opportunity to write this one. Please bring this game back, GOG!
literally one of the best childhood games...bring it back, used to crave and look forward to playing this game....such a good game. make it happen team gog, fast

I just have to say Yes pleas bring this one to GoG it been over 26 years seen I play this and to be honest 4got all about it. Now seeing this and the hope of playing it again just overwhelms me. I remember now it has 4 army's and all have some special strength and weakness. I was 12 at the time I try to play it was not easy with epilepsy thankfully my older brothers play it with me. This game lead me to War/starcraft, C&C and others. A BLAST from the PAST love to play it again.
Those games also need your vote!
King's Bounty
King's BountyWhile King Maximus ruled the land, life was good in the four continents. The Sceptre of Order rested safely in his hands, keeping at bay the forces of darkness that infested the world. Children were happy. Merchants prospered. Honest folks made honest livings. And nobody complained much. But far across the waters, Arech Dragonbreath, leader of the Dark Legions, looked enviously upon the wealth and splendor of the four continents. With the aid of great magic, Arech stole into the chambers of King Maximus and wrested the Sceptre from the grip of the sleeping King. He then released his evil forces, ordering his minions and lieutenants to seize the land in whatever manner they pleased (as long as it involved considerable amounts of pain and terror). Arech retired to his new lair on the four continents and waited for King Maximus’s certain resistance. The King and his forces, however, offered none. Fearing some kind of trickery, Arech peered into his prophetic crystal to see what Maximus was up to. The crystal showed the King lying in bed, his face pale and gaunt like death itself. Over the King stood a noble young knight with the strength and resolve of great leader. The King was speaking. "Come here" he gasped, "I am weak and breath is a luxury. Please." He extended his hand and the great leader drew close. "You must restore my kingdom. I, too, must be restored. I am tied to this land and as it dies, so do I. My days here are numbered. You must recover the Sceptre if I and my land are to live."Arech watched this exchange and quickly buried the Sceptre somewhere on the four continents. He draw a map of its location, then shredded it into 25 pieces. He gave one to each of his 16 villainous nobles, kept one for himself, and the other eight he hid with powerful artifacts around the four continents. Your time grows short, leader. You have your quest and King Maximus’s last hope. May you be guarded in your journey by the Spirits of Order. Good luck!
