If it's gonna be in GOG, it needs to be titled "DOOM ETERNAL - COMPLETE EDITION" which contained the Game, The two Expansions and Cosmetics Content + the Ultimate Mick Gordon soundtrack that is still on limbo, because Bethesda and id Software are giant d!ck$ for not wanting to pay the Australian more.
Now that Doom 2016 is out on GOG, Doom Eternal should be a natural follow. Really enjoyed this game when it first released, and now that it's been a few years and mods are available, having a DRM free version to play around with would be incredible for this kind of modding fun. Hope GOG gets this one soon so we can have all the Doom games DRM free.
When I hit the vote up button, this box popped up. GOG wants to know "What's my memory of Doom Eternal?" I haven't played it yet because it's not at GOG yet. I'm just here upvoting its release here.

DOOM 2016 is on GOG, so this certainly should be as well. The way I see it, Eternal is effectively what a video game sequel should be: Improved gameplay mechanics, more weapons, and (obviously for DOOM) new and far more demons and types of demons to meet - and rip and tear. Some people apparently criticized Eternal for being over-the-top. But isn't that more or less what DOOM has always been all about?
I played Doom Eternal to completion on Steam, with over 250 hours logged. It took what Doom 2016 started and pushed it further, challenging players not just to react but to truly master new mechanics. I progressed from Ultra Violence to Nightmare and eventually conquered Ultra Nightmare, and it was some of the most rewarding FPS gameplay I have ever experienced. At launch, the game's performance was outstanding. I consistently hit 144 frames per second even during the most chaotic fights, something that is rare today. It was clear that id Software prioritized optimization, testing, and quality assurance, setting a standard that more studios should aspire to. A release on GOG would further highlight this commitment to quality and show how a complete, polished game should be delivered. With the addition of The Ancient Gods Part One and Part Two, Doom Eternal became one of the best FPS experiences I have ever played. I would love the opportunity to truly own this masterpiece, DRM free, in its complete form with all expansions included.

While I find the gameplay more frustrating than Doom 2016 and I could do without all the memes that surrounded it, Doom Eternal is still a remarkable game, both graphically and mechanically, that deserves preservation. While it's pretty much DRM-Free (at least Denuvo-free) on Steam (if I(m not mistaken) -and the BethNet content is optional, I'd like to see a version here too, just like Doom 2016 was finally released (and even if SnapMap is heavily gimped it's useable somewhat), just to make sure we have an easily preservable build of the finished game. The intense action, over-the-top sequences and general mood make this a thrill ride like few others can boast, and it's now a piece of technical VG history that too deserves preservation. And of course please include the full Old Gods DLC, that we may experience the whole story.
One of the best shooters (and games) of all time, goes without saying. Now the only Doom game missing from GOG's catalogue. Doom Eternal already had the Denuvo Anti-Tamper DRM removed from other storefronts in 2023. They'd only need to strip out the multiplayer mode, as they did for Doom 2016, to bring it to GOG. Would love to see it!!

One of the best first person shooters of all time. The game is a technical marvel, the gameplay is refined to absolute perfection. This game deserves to be preserved along with all the other Doom games.

Doom Eternal came out just when COVID quarantine started in my country. I had a few days off and a horde of demons to slay. I sharpened my side blade, pumped some shells into my shotgun and the dance of death was on! There is no game like Doom Eternal. They took what was great about Doom 2016 and cranked it up to 11! Topping all the previous Doom games was an impressive achievement. Doom Eternal is masterclass. It set new standards on all fronts. Mick Gordon's music fits the game like peanut butter with jelly. Preserving this masterpiece in a DRM free form will be a gift to the entire gaming world.
one of my favorite games of 2020. It took what made Doom 2016 fun and made it better. I want an excuse to play this game again. The fact that Doom 2016 is on GOG gave me an excuse to replay it and I want the same reason with Doom Eternal

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Metal Gear Solid: Peace WalkerMetal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is an action-adventure stealth video game and is the third action-based Metal Gear title made specifically for the PSP. The gameplay consists of two primary modes: Mission and Mother Base. Mission are the actual action sequences of the game where the player must infiltrate an enemy territory or fight a boss, whereas Mother Base is an army management. Some changes have been made to the standard Metal Gear formula: the player is now unable to move or shoot while laying down and while pinned to a wall, making Peace Walker the first game since Metal Gear to lack any crawling ability.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake EaterMetal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the follow up to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. It is the first prequel in the series, taking the series to the year 1964. The player takes the role as the series' original antagonist, Big Boss, then known as Naked Snake. MGS3 is the first game in the series to take place in a jungle. This unique setting created an opportunity for new mechanics. The player can adapt to the environment by swapping Snake's camouflage, hunt animals and gather plants for food. This iteration in the series introduced a new feature in which the player must apply medicine and perform medical procedures on Snake if he is damaged in combat. Apart from the survival themed features, the controls and gameplay of the game are very similar to Metal Gear Solid 2. Like other Metal Gear games, the focus is on stealth, but the player can go through the entire game like a shooter if they choose to. Throughout the game Snake acquires weapons of all types; non-lethal firearms, handguns, sniper rifles, machine guns, shotguns, sub-machine guns, and explosives. Metal Gear Solid 3 was the first game to implement the CQC (close quarters combat) system. CQC allowed Snake to beat enemies down to knock them out, or put them in a chokehold to knock them out, kill them, or and/or question them. Metal Gear Solid 3's health system required the player to occasionally pause the game and treat Snake's ailments. When Snake is shot, there is a chance that the bullet didn't pass through him, requiring the player to use a knife to remove the bullet, apply disinfectant, apply styptic and bandage the wound. This was done through a submenu in the pause screen. Other ailments the player must treat Snake for include: leeches, broken bones, burns, cut, arrow/bolts/needles, stomach sickness, colds, and food/venom poisoning. Adding to the survival elements of the game, Snake Eater lives up to its name by requiring the player to scavenge food for Snake. Under the life bar there is stamina bar. If Snake does not eat any food the bar depletes, causing various effects. When the stamina bar is low, the player's ability to aim is severely handicapped, Snake's hands will shake in the first person aiming mode. Just like real life, Snake's stomach can also rumble, enemy soldiers can hear this, and will be alerted to Snake's presence.
