This was one of the first games I played when I was a kid, and without a doubt, it’s one of my favorites. I remember the weekends when I would turn on my PlayStation 2 and put in the pirated CD of this game—it was seriously one of my all-time favorites. I really miss playing it again.
Now, having the original version and owning it forever would make me so happy. I also remember the days when I would call my cousins over to play this amazing game. The rule was simple: whoever fell off the bike had to pass the controller to the next player—it was so much fun!
I would be really happy to buy this game that was such a big part of my childhood.
This game takes an arcade-y approach of the downhill sports, with huge jumps, insane speed, impossible air tricks, and combat (yes, combat). The race takes place in various countries and are grouped into three types: Freeride (the longest), Technical Downhill (more obstacles), and Mountain Cross (the shortest). The riders consist of fictional ones, who are mostly on the stereotypical side, with a few real-life pros. You'll either love them or hate them.
This is one of my favorite PS2 games and a big part of my childhood. I was never into sports game until I played this one. It's just fun, and it has a bit of those "early 2000s vibes" that I quite like.
I doubt that Sony will ever remaster this game, or even dig it up from their IP lists (would love to be proved wrong). With that being said, I hope that GOG can preserve this hidden gem.

As you race down an alpine road in your choice of eight high performance cars, you'll be amazed by the detail and realism. Plan your strategy for each track, there are six to choose from during regular play, and each demands a different style of driving.
There's also a bonus track if you win the Tournament. There are four game modes to try, with an option to compete against another driver over a modem. With different cars, different tracks, and different styles of racing fueling your need for speed, you'll find your addiction growing to a fewer pitch. No need to worry, when you crash and burn in the game, there's always another day.

Professional Underground League of PainA combination of ice hockey, basketball, and bare-knuckle fighting, Professional Underground League of Pain is a futuristic sports game with few rules and loads of violence. The object of the game is to throw a plasma ball into a round goal that is suspended above the middle of a hockey-sized arena. Before you or your computer opponent can make a basket, the ball must be charged. Each team's charger is located in their opponents end of the court. Be careful, though: If the ball is charged with your opponent's color and you make a basket, your opponent gets the points. The same rule applies for the opposing team. There are different zones on the court and depending on where a player is standing when he makes a shot, he will score one, two, or three points.
There are sixteen different teams to choose from, representing the countries of England, France, the United States, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Australia, and Russia. Each team has four players on the court at once. Most of the action consists of passing, shooting, and stealing the ball, punching and sliding into your opponents, and a whole lot of running.Action Science fiction

Jet Set Radio HDJet Set Radio HD is the latest remaster in a string of Dreamcast "hits" to see new life on download platforms, but Sega has been insistent that they've learned its lessons. The publisher has emphasized how hard it's trying to get things right this time, and for many, it couldn't have chosen a better game.
Jet Set Radio was part of Sega's onslaught of new properties with an emphasis on flash and style during the second wave of Dreamcast software, but it might be one of the more obscure. It's a game that almost everyone has heard of, but I think few have actually played. This was remedied somewhat with 2002's Xbox sequel Jet Set Radio Future. Unlike Sonic Adventure or the arcade hit Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio HD is the chance for many to finally play a game they've only heard about.
Nostalgia has the side effect of high expectations though, and Jet Set Radio HD just can't meet them. While the flash and style of Jet Set Radio HD remains untouched and unvarnished by a dozen years of progress, the rest of it can't stand up to scrutiny. Squirrely controls, camera catastrophes, and nonsensical level design make Jet Set Radio HD a better memory than game.Action
