I played this game for the first time in the mid 90's off of one of those multi-cd demo packs. It reminded me a lot of Ultima IV on the NES but is more accessible in terms of knowing what to do and where to go. The party customization and combat options are just as good as the story. This wound up being the first game from Spiderweb Software that I fell in love with and he has even remade this game 2x over the years. Definitely a game and developer worth your time.
I was honestly surprised to not find this on GoG! It's old, but there's a good story and some interesting gameplay; it's worth the time and effort to hunt down.

I played this game back when I didn't speak English, but I still enjoyed it so much I somehow managed to stumble through a good chunk of it. Since then I've actually went to the trouble of setting up a Win 95 VM to play it some time ago (the game is free on Spiderweb Software's website but doesn't run on modern systems) just because I enjoyed it so much. It's been remade as Avernum 3, but there are pretty significant differences between that and OG Exile 3 (reduced party size, streamlined spell list, different perspective, different dialogue interface, etc, etc) so I still would enjoy being able to play the original without jumping through hoops.

Silent Hill: Downpour
Silent Hill: DownpourSilent Hill: Downpour is the eighth Silent Hill video game installment and the last fully-released video game in the series. Just like its predecessors, Downpour combines exploring abandoned surroundings, talking to characters, and solving puzzles, set against a slow, psychological horror theme. Different from the previous game Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is the return of combat. The player often has to fight off monsters using a variety of weapons, but he can carry only one melee and one ranged weapon who can deteriorate over time. Entirely new to the series is the introduction of a weather system: there is a full day and night cycle and rain often warns the player of danger that is approaching. It is possible to hide until the weather becomes better again.

Out of This World
Out of This WorldOut of This World (Another World in Europe) is a cinematic platformer that uses vector-based graphics and rotoscoped animations to deliver a minimalistic yet expressive visual style. It features a combination of action, platforming, and puzzle-solving mechanics, with a deliberate lack of HUD and textual guidance. Gameplay emphasizes trial-and-error, timing, and exploration, with a limited checkpoint system. In 2005, a homebrew port of the Atari ST version was released for the Game Boy Advance, officially allowed by Éric Chahi to be published with the original assets.
