Story:A group of baby stuffed animals are kidnapped from their families by the Stupid Bears (an evil gang of stuffed teddy bears, of all things!), and it is up to the Fur Fighters to save the young ones. The group that you control ranges from Kangaroos and Penguins to Cats and Dogs, all with their unique abilities and styles of fighting, which you must use to not only defeat the Stupid Bears, but complete puzzles and specific objectives along the way. You can control only one character at a time, but there are teleport areas so that you can change your character to one that can complete the tasks at hand.Show more

Fur Fighters is as captivating as it is odd. It's a mix of 3D platforming and third-person shooting, with a fair share of simple puzzles, and an emphasis on exploration. I thoroughly enjoyed it's core mechanic of having six playable mercenaries, each with a unique skill and swapping between them to solve puzzles. The game isn't without it's problems, chief among them being getting the game to work correctly on modern PCs. There's a very small community interested in netplay, and having this be brought to GOG could open up a ton of new players to this bizarre little gem. In the wise words of my favorite character: "Tweek!"

WHY ISN'T THIS ON GOG YET!? I grew up a little with this one when this game came out on Dreamcast, loved it, but could never afford it. XD When I got older and found both a PS2 and PC version existed; I jumped onto both. The PS2 is the most up to date, but the 'softpaw' control's didn't work out well. PC, is far more easier to control and I fell back in love with this. The levels and multiplayer maps styled after classic movies like James Bond and Indiana Jones. The bubbly music littleraly called Bubbly in the PC game files. The cartoony animal characters and how the world sort of works; its just a beauty and a marvel I loved as a kid and still love as an aging adult. So when I went looking for this game online, I discovered noone was selling it digitally, not even GOG. I later discovered it was because a programmer held the rights and didn't want to re-release the game; though that's after I discovered the cult community behind this that got the multiplayer working again; albeit after trial and error of getting it to work on newer OS machines, which was trial and hellfire when the models were skewered because it didn't like Radeon Graphics Cards. There is still a community behind this and the progers still tinker with the game to get it out on Switch even. It would be a CRIME to not release it again into this program!

One of my favorite games from the PlayStation 2 and Dreamcast era. I’d love to see it on gog. It deserves to get the cult classic status it never got. I really hope more people play it.
This game is something very special . Theres lots of action, its very humourous and some bits are quite dark . There is a heck of alot to unlock. The Dreamcast version is the better version. Only thing that would need a fix is graphics and I think the save should be sparing or manual. Each time you swapped characters it saved . But on the odd occasion it corrupted. But that could have been the VMUs issue. The PS2 version had propt voices . If possible maybe add option for original or new voices. I think the DC version was more detailed but lost something when transferred to PS2 .

The game is very nostalgic to many of us, especially me, the first time I've played it was at my friends house, we played a PC version of it, and oh boy, it was something. The game is very unique in it's graphic style and it's creativity, it has pretty long lasting levels, puzzles and the best thing in this game - stuffed animals that are trying to kill you. The idea of using fluff instead of the blood when you take damage or kill enemies was a very creative idea of not making it bad game for kids. The soundtrack of this game are on the top tier, each "region", has it's own soundtrack, even boss fights have them! The best part behind this game is it's community, it's small, but active, trying to revive this old funny looking game and fixing bugs together to have the best experience. It's a crime that the game didn't get re-released ANYWHERE AT ALL.
A game with frankly imperfect design but just so much charm that I can't help but love it. While I grew up with the PS2 version, Viggo's Revenge, the PC version was something I also got my hands on and enjoyed, in a few aspects more than the other version, finishing both several times over the years. I even gave the iOS version a spin when it was available. In my honest opinion, I'd rather have the PS2 version but I'd also settle for the PC one, as long as some problems were addressed (such as physics instability above 30 FPS, 3 tokens in the VAB Building buggy area being inaccessible after clearing it if not collected and tokens in general totaling more than listed). As Mark Craig answered me once, saying he'd "love to do it but can't see the time to do it anytime soon", I have some hope in this happening at some point. And I really do hope it will.
Fur Fighters is one of my favorite Dreamcast games of all-time! When playing it the passion, inspiration and creativity of the people who made the game is clearly felt. It's a game that's cool, cute and hilarious all in one! It's oozing style and substance with a very unique graphical and art direction style. It's an excellent 3rd person shooter with platforming and puzzle elements. Also, I have many cherished memories of having sleepovers with friends playing Fluff Matches for hours in middle school, the death match multiplayer mode of the game. I would absolutely love to be able to play it more easily and accessibly on my modern PC! Please bring the Dreamcast version of Fur Fighters to GOG!

Fur-Fighters was groundbreaking when it was released on the Sega Dreamcast in 2000. It was one of the first games to feature cel-shaded graphics, and its gameplay is comparable to titles like MDK2, Sonic Adventure, and Rayman 2. What I like about this game is its engaging story, which includes references to Movies and other first-person shooters, such as Quake. The multiplayer mode is addictive and even more enjoyable if you compete against your friends in Deathmatch. Players will also need to solve puzzles to access different areas of the game. Additionally, the soundtrack is fitting, and you’ll need to utilise various characters to progress. This game deserves a remake, and the original should be made available on GOG for a new generation of fans.

My memories of playing this game is unfortunately on the Dreamcast and PS2 (emulated). However when I discovered it existed on PC, I went looking and like others, found it wasn't sold anywhere. The game is a great shooter, but the console controls hold it back from perfection imo. Something the PC version can rectify with mouse and keyboard controls. Here's hoping Gog can get this game!!

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the PatriotsMetal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is the final canonical Metal Gear game to feature Solid Snake as the main character. The gameplay of the previous games have been kept along with some new features, such as the ability to roll on your back and also to hide in bins scattered around the environment. Most of the story and the relationship between the characters are explained through cut-scenes with a considerable length, so knowledge of the prior games is recommended to fully understand the story. The game also features a complex multiplayer mode entitled Metal Gear Online with some original missions based on the stealth aspects of the single-player games.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
Mercenaries: Playground of DestructionDuring the last years of his reign, the North Korean president Choi Kim attempted a reconciliation with the country's southern neighbor, with the ultimate goal of reunification. However, his son, General Choi Song, and the military clique under his leadership, strongly disagreed with the old man's views. Eventually, Choi Song orchestrated his own father's assassination, took control of North Korea, and severed ties with the outside world. Eventually, plans of a nuclear reactor construction began to surface. China, South Korea, the Allied Nations and even the Russian Mafia sent troops to North Korea, competing for power in the troubled region. A bounty of a hundred million dollars for General Song was declared. This is where the mercenaries enter the playfield. Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction is a free-roaming war action and driving game with open-ended gameplay in a large world. The player can choose to control any of the three mercenary protagonists, each with their own strengths: North American Chris Jacobs can sustain higher damage; Jennifer Mui from Hong-Kong is proficient in stealth; Mattias Nilsson from Sweden can run faster than the others. Each of the mercenary also speaks different languages, which makes him or her more or less suitable for work with particular factions. Players have free reign of a massive landscape to take bounties on the "Deck of 52", a list of most wanted criminals in North Korea, as well as a number of factions. Four factions have moved in to take advantage of the coup for personal gains; each faction will offer the player resources such as vehicles and supplies, as well as missions that the player can use to make money off of. If the player makes a faction happy, they will offer intel on the locations of various bounties from the deck. Players have a vast array of resources available to them to get the job done. It is possible to commandeer tanks, choppers and and any other military hardware to blow up the game's destructible landscape across the North Korean countryside. Helping out various factions provides access to numerous vehicle drops, supply drops, and air strikes.
