100% my favourite childhood game, no doubts about it. The songs are masterpieces, the levels are amazing and it would be really great to be able to experience it again on modern hardware, the disk I played the game off of back in the day died a couple years back.

It's a childhood game of mine and one of my most memorable gaming memory. The game felt special, as the movement felt solid, and the each level bring something new. The split screen makes it even better to race with a friend, and 4 player brawl was a lot of fun. The game still age pretty well too. I was very much into marble race back then and this game delivers everything about it, and it brings memory to see this again.

I've spent hours upon hours racing my friends in this game when I was a kid. I still play this game once a couple weeks to this day, and I will never ever delete it. It's a great party game, full of wacky surprises on every race track, fun music, and timeless visual style that still looks good today.
This was one of my favorite PC games as a kid! I was never very good at it, but always had a great time with it nonetheless. I bought it on Big Fish Games, but BFG's DRM makes it very difficult to run on my Linux PC or Steam Deck.

One of my 2 favorite childhood games (this and bejeweled) that are absolutely amazing and music composed by Skaven252 (Peter Hajba). Simple yet fitting cartoony art style!! Sky race and neon race are my favorite races. I hope you have good control with keyboard or mouse (maybe a large mouse pad too 😁) if you want to perfect this game. The sequel which is in development will have a level editor!!
the best game of the old childhood pc games that i loved to play it hamsterball will come back and im happy about that its really cool to know !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of my all-time favorite/classic games for PC. Ricochet, Platypus and HamsterBall are Old-School Gaming Gems! I still remember playing Up Race back in the day in the demo version and cried for the first time I was able to play Neon Race after purchase. Rodent Rumble is amazing and there are family memories that'll remain forever from this great game! All hail HamsterBall!

Clearly up there with one of my biggest childhood games. Its crazy how I've even managed to get through this game. Its clearly not easy but as a small goofball I clearly made it through.
Charming graphically, with a unique visual style... Playing this as a child, the incredible soundtrack would help play a part in shaping my taste of music for the rest of my life. The hamster deserves to be seen, the music deserves to be heard.
Those games also need your vote!

Duke Nukem 3D
Duke Nukem 3DAliens have landed in futuristic Los Angeles and it's up to the Duke to bring the pain and show them the door. After the initial entries of side-scrolling platform games, Duke Nukem 3D introduces a first-person perspective to the series and turns the game into a full-fledged shooter with 2.5D graphics. Duke's arsenal includes pistols, pipe bombs, laser trip mines, Nordenfelt guns, a chain gun and various rocket launchers, but also his mighty foot to kick enemies. The game sports a high level of interactivity. Many objects in the environment can be broken or interacted with, such as pool tables, arcade machines, glass, light switches and security cameras. The protagonist is also able to hand strippers a dollars to have them remove their top.

Resident Evil
Resident EvilRemake of the 1996 game Resident Evil, the first installment in the Resident Evil video game series. The story takes place in 1998 near the fictional Midwestern town of Raccoon City where a series of bizarre murders have taken place. The player takes on the role of either Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine, S.T.A.R.S. agents sent in by the city to investigate the murders. Resident Evil was developed over the course of one year and two months as part of an exclusivity deal between Capcom and Nintendo. It was directed by Shinji Mikami, who also designed and directed the original Resident Evil. Mikami decided to produce a remake because he felt that the original had not aged well and that the GameCube's capabilities could bring the game closer to his original vision. The game retains the same graphical presentation, with 3D models superimposed over pre-rendered backgrounds. However, the quality of the graphics were vastly improved. The remake also features new gameplay mechanics, revised puzzles, additional explorable areas, a revised script, and new story details including an entire subplot cut from the original game. Upon release, Resident Evil received critical acclaim from video game journalists, who praised its graphics and improved gameplay over the original game. It is often described as one of the best, scariest, and most visually impressive entries in the Resident Evil series. Despite this, the game sold worse than expected and led Capcom to change the direction of the series to a more action-oriented approach. In 2008, the game was ported to the Wii, featuring a new control system. A high-definition version of the game was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One in 2015 to positive critical reception and commercial success.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
Resident Evil 7: BiohazardResident Evil 7: Biohazard is the first game of the Resident Evil series to switch from 3rd-person to fully 1st-person perspective. A complete refresh of gameplay systems simultaneously propels the survival horror experience to another level. It is as much horror as it is survival, boosting up scare elements and minimizing downright shooting action. The game allows use of Sony's PSVR Headset to play in VR mode.
