We need more games like this!!! I feel this game was ahead of its time because I can't think of any game like this. Dead Nation is good but its only 2 player. This is 4 player co-op with stunning detail and graphics. That's crazy its over 20 years old and still better than most games today! This game needs to make a comeback
Where most people got their start in WoD through VtM:B, I got mine through Hunter: the Reckoning, and I didn't even know it at the time. It's one of the only games I ever played with my dad, back when my brother rented this in the summer of 2002; we didn't get through the whole game, but we sure tried. I love Gauntlet-style co-op games, and I am constantly itching to go back and play this one. But having it stuck on consoles is a giant pain, especially when trying to get friends involved. Please bring this series to GOG!

Hunter: The Reckoning is a fantastic co-op game in the same vein as the Gauntlet series, but with a twist. Modern day (well, "modern" at the time), demons and zombies, and a cast of fun characters to play with different abilities. It was such a fun game to play with friends, and it's one of those multiplayer games that I look back upon fondly that never made the jump from consoles. We had a blast with this one, and I think it's worthy enough for the GOG treatment.

I remember it like it was yesterday — flipping through a thick, glossy game catalog at my local store, just trying to find something new to play for the weekend. Back then, that was half the fun — no YouTube trailers, no endless reviews at your fingertips. You just had a few pictures, maybe a tiny paragraph, and your gut feeling. As I turned the pages, my eyes caught a glimpse of Hunter: The Reckoning. I had never even heard of it before. No big hype, no one telling me it was a “must-play.” It was just… there. But something about the pictures grabbed me immediately — the gritty, dark vibe, the hunters all looking like they were straight out of a twisted comic book. It wasn’t just another typical action game; it felt like there was something deeper hiding in there. Without thinking much, I decided to take the chance and bought it. And man, it was one of the best blind purchases I ever made. The moment I started playing, I was completely fascinated — and honestly, back then, it felt groundbreaking. The atmosphere was thick and heavy, the environments dark but detailed in a way that made everything feel alive, or better yet, cursed. The mix of horror, action, and RPG elements just hit perfectly. You didn’t feel like some invincible superhero; you felt like a survivor with just enough firepower and grit to push back the darkness. I was absolutely mesmerized. I must’ve played it dozens of times — solo, with friends, it didn’t matter. Every time felt like stepping into a brutal, stylish nightmare that you didn’t want to wake up from. It wasn’t the biggest name, and it didn’t have the flashiest ad campaigns, but Hunter: The Reckoning carved out a permanent spot in my gaming memories just by being raw, stylish, and unapologetically cool. Sometimes it’s the unexpected finds that stick with you the most.
I remember playing this game with my family as a kid. It's some of the best memories I've ever had, and would very much appreciate if I could experience them again! My favorite memory was fighting the teddy bear boss with my family, it was very exciting! I want this game on gog because, gog is my go to place for gaming! Please add all 3 hunter the reckoning games on to here.
This game got me into ARPGs and I've loved them ever since. The setting and overall theme are spooky and that vibes with my inner emo. Even if you don't love this game please up vote it for the new generation to have a chance to experience this!
Only 136 votes? That is a shame. This game is the worlds per-eminent couch/hour destroyer with 4 player co-op in 3D with camera angles not frustrating. A 4 player co-op beat/shoot em up with lots of WoD references and spooky bosses, enemies, and locations. I believe you can save and upgrade weapons and health by looking around the stages. This game deserves to be preserved! I could only imagine how great it would look with a remake or even just a resolution boost.
I played it as a child, and would love t9 play it again. I played with family mine was eith the guy with the crossbow, or woman with the revolver. My dad was the really big guy.

This series is such a forgotten gem. I had so much fun playing these on whatever Xbox system they were released on back in the day. I have been trying to find a way to replay these lost treasures.
one of the best co-op 4 player games I have ever played on xbox. why do we not have more games like this? I tried to find this game, but all I can find is that Text based trash which is just a bunch of words texted on a blank screen. please bring this to GOG and make sure it's the real version and make sure its FULL SCREEN.
Those games also need your vote!

Xenoblade Chronicles X
Xenoblade Chronicles XXenoblade Chronicles X is an action role-playing video game and a part of the Xeno series of video games, serving as a spiritual successor to Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii. In a similar fashion to the original, the game plays as an open world role-playing video game, with an emphasis on exploration. Traveling can take place on foot, or in large humanoid robots, approximately four times the height of the average playable character, called "Skells" ("Dolls" in the Japanese version), that the player may opt to control. The Skells have the ability to fly, traverse water, and transform into vehicles such as motorcycles or tanks. Aerial battles will also take place in the game.

Xenoblade Chronicles
Xenoblade ChroniclesXenoblade Chronicles follows Shulk and his band of friends as they search for answers about the mysterious "Monado" sword and defend their homeland from violent robotic creatures known as the Mechon. The game contains an open world design and strongly emphasizes exploration due to the world's large size. The game was very well received by critics, with many citing it as a great example of innovation and improvement in Japanese role-playing video games. The game has spawned a sub-series of the larger "Xeno" series, including Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U) and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Switch).
