I'm a giant pinhead, going back to the 80s. I'm one of those weirdos who owns a real machine (a Williams Rollergames, which will never see a digital version). I love many of the 90s video pinball classics like Balls of Steel, Pinball Fantasies/Dreams/Illusions, Epic Pinball and others, but this is one that's often overlooked and deserves a place among the pantheon. Despite being put out by a major publisher at the time, it never found a huge audience, but the table designs and game play of Hyper 3-D Pinball can hold their own with the games I mentioned above. I had a ton of fun with this back in the day and recently acquired a mint boxed copy. I'd love to see this make it to GOG so other fellow pinheads can experience it.

PinballPinball is a game where the player controls the paddles of a virtual pinball machine. The game has two screens to represent the traditional pinball table and one for a bonus mode. Play begins when the player launches a ball with the plunger from first screen through the top of the screen to the second screen. Play will move to the first screen if the ball falls through the bottom of the top screen and will return to the top screen if the ball is hit back through the space at the top of the first screen. If the ball falls through the hole to the right bottom at the top level, the player will enter a mini-game featuring Mario and Lady. The player controls the paddles on either screen to deflect the ball to keep it from falling off the bottom of the lower screen.Action
PinballPinball is a pinball simulation for one or two players. You begin the game with five balls, and need to score as many points as possible by hitting the ball into the various bumpers and targets on the pinball table. The pinball table consists of three different screens, each with a different layout and level of difficulty. To advance from one screen to the next, you need to use a single ball to hit several targets and then get the ball into a white cup that appears. If you are on the second or third screen and the ball falls off the bottom, you will be back to the lower screen; if the ball falls off the bottom screen you will lose that ball. The game ends when all five balls have been lost.Party
Pinball Construction SetPinball Construction Set created a new genre of video games - the "builder" or "construction set" class of games.
Users can construct their own virtual pinball machine, by dropping controls onto a table. Controls included bumpers, flippers, spinners and other standard pinball paraphernalia. Attributes such as gravity and the physics model could also be modified.
Users could then save their creations and develop custom artwork to go along with them. As Pinball Construction Set itself was not needed to play the tables, they could be freely traded online or on a floppy disk.Action
