dawno temu byłem tak chory, że spędziłem w Ishar 2 miesiące, na tamte czasy jako 1 gra z otwartym światem była czymś niesamowitym. Barwy i tajemnicza historia przykuwały wręcz do komputera
N'étant pas né dans une famille férue d'informatique, j'ai découvert cet univers assez tard au regard des standards de ma génération. Jusqu'à mes onze ans, en effet, et la découverte, chez un ami, de cette incroyable trilogie (sur Atari à l'époque), j'étais même à minima critique à l'encontre du jeu vidéo dans son ensemble. Mais la visite des îles d'Ishar 2, son ambiance (sonore, en désactivant la musique), ses énigmes retors, son monde intrigant, ses mécaniques inventives et avant-gardistes, autant en combat qu'en ce qui concerne les relations interpersonnelles, et ses graphismes généreux, extrêmement qualitatifs pour l'époque, auront eu raison de mes doutes. Le jeu vidéo était bel et bien un média passionnant qui, malgré les vices de son industrie, aurait de l'avenir.
C'est ainsi que je suis tombé amoureux de cette trilogie, que le gaming ne m'a plus vraiment quitté depuis, sur PC, et que le RPG est resté mon genre de prédilection en dépit d'un certain éclectisme.
Difficile, dans ces conditions, d'expliquer par des mots à quel point ces jeux m'ont marqués. Et, probablement, de rester objectif. Je pense néanmoins ne pas être le seul à avoir été marqué, et que leur importance dans le jeu vidéo, notamment pour la conception de RPG, n'est pas à démontrer : sur bien des aspects, ils ne sont, aujourd'hui encore, pas dépassés.
Je terminerai donc en disant ceci : le service de Gog sert à conserver plus longtemps des jeux anciens, considérés comme majeurs, c'est le cas ici. Ces jeux sont présents sur Gog, ils peuvent donc dès demain intégrer ce programme. J'en appelle donc au véritables passionnés de jeux vidéos, s'il vous plaît, soutenez ces titres. Par ailleurs je vous rappelle que ce sont des jeux français. Si l'argument personnellement me laisse froid, j'en appelle également aux apprentis nationalistes qui hantent cette plateforme : par pitié, rendez-vous utiles au moins, pour une fois ;-)

Wild Arms XFWild Arms XF is a 2D turn-based tactical role-playing game, creating a gameplay experience somewhere between Dungeons & Dragons and chess. As with most T/RPGs, positional advantage can be critical to victory, and players are encouraged to outmaneuver their enemies as well as outgun them. The game emphasizes positioning and maneuvering by the inclusion of "Formation Arts," which increase attack damage when an enemy is surrounded by your characters in a line, a triangle or a circle. Wild Arms XF is a member of the small subsection of T/RPGs whose battlefields are based around hexagonal tiles instead of squares. "Combination Arts" return from previous Wild ARMs titles, allowing characters to target an enemy in a waiting state and then deliver their attacks simultaneously with the next ally to attack their target. If the player succeeds in executing an uninterrupted series of commands, the damage inflicted upon enemies will increase significantly. On the other hand, the enemy gets the same advantage.Fantasy
Wild Arms 5Developed for the 10th anniversary of the series, Wild Arms 5 follows a group of young travelers as they fight for their dying land. Players guide the rag-tag bunch of heroes through a 3D world full of adventure and combat. While jumping, sliding, and stomping through the environment to complete the main objective, gamers can also engage in mini-games and side quests for money and rare items. Although the story revolves around new characters, the HEX battle system returns and several known avatars make cameo appearances during the game.
