This game has a unique playstyle, it is sort of a rts/fighting game, it is very fun to fight in duels, building your deck, unlocking new spells, etc. It is inspired by card game but its not a card game, I played it countless hours on the original xbox, it also has local multiplayer. Sadly cant be found anywhere today unless you happen to have the first xbox
When i brought this game years ago home, my small cousins were playing this game for hours, its a mix of strategy and arcade style of gaming. I don't know why this game didn't get continuation. Still its awesome, great graphics and very good playthrough!
Dude, this game was a strong obsession of mine. I loved the practically Baroque design of the UI, the weird almost real time autobattler feeling of it (almost reminiscent of Clash Royale really), but the sense of being able to customize your loadouts and building around a spells vs creatures strategy.... I think I can still hear "Suntail Hawk, Suntail Hawk" spam in my dreams, but nothing made those dreams real so much as rolling Multani and crowding the field only to overwhelm the field with "OVERRUN"

I'm doing this probably more for my brother than me but it was a fun and easy to follow experience using the MTG game as a weird kind of magic fighting game with summons. He told me once he basically played this game 3 days straight only stopping for essentials like the bathroom or dinner or sleep. He loved this game and in some ways I feel like this is really where card games should've been when they got converted to computer or console games. Something with more motion, vocals, and flash than what the card game could offer based on its medium. True it doesn't have all the newer cards and it is a bit of a relic, but they did an amazing job I must admit and it would feel like a travesty to let it disappear into the black hole that is time. Another game that should be preserved, played, and studied by game devs.

Shogun: Total War
Shogun: Total WarSet against the backdrop of the Sengoku Jidai (Warring States) period from the 15th to the beginning of the 17th century, Shogun: Total War is a real-time tactics and turn-based strategy game with a strong focus on historical authenticity. Players assume control of a daimyo (leader) of a contemporary Japanese clan and attempt to conquer the nation and claim the title of supreme Shogun, the undisputed military ruler of Japan. The gameplay consist of two parts – a turn-based Risk-style mode on a 2D campaign map of Japan where the player must recruit, manage and move their armies, conduct diplomacy, trade, espionage, sabotage and assassinations. This 2D map however ultimately serves to provide context for the 3D real-time battles that make up the main part of the game and occur whenever your army crosses into enemy territory or two opposing forces meet on the campaign map.
