Story:The 9th core Atelier game and the first of the two Mana Khemia games.
The game's main focus is on the lead protagonist, Vayne Aurelius, the son of a legendary alchemist named Theofratus who had disappeared sometime after Vayne's birth. Since then, Vayne has led the life of a hermit, his only companion being a Mana in cat form named Sulpher. Vayne is invited to the Al-Revis Academy for alchemy training by Zeppel, one of the professors. He is quickly indoctrinated into the school by becoming part of an atelier led by Flay Gunnar (an older student who is known as The Defender of Justice) along with two other students, Jess (a clumsy girl who is nevertheless adept at alchemy), and Nikki (an impulsive beastgirl). They are soon joined by Pamela (the school's resident ghost), Anna (an 11-year-old master swordsman), Roxis (the son of a famous family of alchemists who is quickly forced to join the workshop by Flay), and Muppy (an alien the group discovers on an assignment). The eight of them are able to succeed at completing assignments, learn the skills of alchemy, and allow the workshop to prosper.Show more

I loved this game. I really enjoyed the mix of RPG and Humor. This was the game that introduced me to the Atelier Series. I'm a guy and I probably never would have tried Atelier Rorona, Totori, Meruru, Lulua, Firis, and Ryza games (which on the surface seemed marketed to female players) if I already hadn't felt comfortable with this game. This was the game that started my journey with the Atelier games. Sincere thank you Gust and Koei Tecmo! You've never dissapointed.
I originally bought this game because of how awesome the Atelier Iris series was. Mana Khemia did not disappoint it still had the great story line with and comedic slant. Then it even added to the battle system bring in a fresh breeze that just made the game more memorable. Though I cannot say I have tried the games in the Atelier Ryza series it was the last one I enjoyed Rorona and the other after having just fell flat some much so that it left a bad taste in my mouth.
Blaze and Blade: Eternal QuestAdventurers come across an ancient lithograph during their travels, supposedly very valuable, and desire to verify the authenticity of this artifact. To do so, the adventurers dive into more dungeons to collect magical gems which in legend fit into the inset of the lithograph. The lithograph united with these magical gems is said to impart great power to the wielders of this artifact, and if the adventurers do receive great power due to reuniting these treasures it will serve as proof to them that they have found the legendary artifact of lore.Action
