  • What made this game unforgettable?
  • Who did you play this game with?
  • What made it fun or challenging?
  • Why do you want this game on GOG?
Don't just add this game for the sake of preservation, give us the version of the game we were meant to have in the first place, especially with how heavily censored this game was.
This one really needs to come back to life, the only way to play it is through piracy or buying the disc used. It may be a bit of controversial but is part of it's magic, we'd love the uncesored version of it, I'll gladly pay for it.

I was lucky enough to have discovered and purchased the AO-rated PC version of this game back when it was exclusively available on Direct2Drive with barely anybody knowing about it. The Wii motion controls were cleverly replaced with interactive mouse movements, and it featured additional variety thanks to rebalanced level design. As for the game itself, the gameplay and story are surprisingly thrilling and challenging. The game is full of cool-yet-messed-up moments that keeps you on the edge and makes you think about what's really going on. Even getting the alternate ending is a challenge in itself, and not just on a pure skill level. If I had to vote for Rockstar Games's most artsy game, it would be this one, and that's saying something considering the general quality of its releases. Unfortunately the license I have for the PC version has a nasty DRM with limited online activations, so there is a risk that I may lose the game forever at any time. A GOG release would not only allow everyone to experience this masterpiece as it should always have been, but would free it from becoming lost media forever.

GOG should add this game mainly because it's lost media now and is banned in a lot of countries due to its violent content, only way to play this game now is through piracy or with a emulator.
I had the opportunity to dive into this game Manhunt 2 that has left a lasting impression on me, and I can't help but share my excitement. This game Manhunt 2, which I found to be incredibly cool and fun, evokes a sense of familiarity reminiscent of the Hitman series, but with a distinct twist that sets it apart: an increased level of gore that adds a visceral edge to the gameplay. From the moment I started playing, I was struck by the meticulous attention to detail in the environments. Each level is crafted with a rich atmosphere that draws you in, much like the beautifully designed locales of Hitman.

Manhunt 2 is a different beast from the original Manhunt. I actually had the Wii version years ago. You actually play as two characters. This plays heavily on psychical to undercover the truth. You get a surprisingly violent game. It almost had an AO rating before they heavily tone the game down. If you seen footage of the uncut version. It easily makes the most brutal finishers of the first game seem like child's play. If you were previously given nightmares from those. You may struggle to balance back from Manhunt 2's finishers. Manhunt 2 might not have the best story as well as characters to a degree. The levels just doesn't feel like those in the original Manhunt at all. I still could say this was a decent sequel in it's own right. Manhunt 2 was ahead of the curve in many ways. It took gaming a long time to follow within it's foot steps. Easily among the most violent games I ever played!!! I would be happy to play the version they do release on here. A lot of people missed out on this game for a few reasons. Either they didn't know it existed until years later or people gotten disappointment over it getting toned down. Mostly made it difficult to see the actual finishers that's it. There's still a lot of people that gotten to enjoy this game including myself. It's currently overlooked as well as underrated to a degree. Manhunt 2 differs just enough from the original game to stand out. Sadly this was the last entry in that franchise.

The heavy censorship of Manhunt 2 significantly altered its creators' original vision. Allowing only the censored version to be available denies players the opportunity to experience the game as it was originally intended. GOG's preservation of the uncensored version is crucial to the artistic and historical integrity of the video game, allowing adults to make an informed decision about which version to play and appreciate the work in its full form.

Give this game the uncut release with Extended Executions, Controller Support like it was on PS2 and patch it with fixes and 120FPS. In the retail disc I bought, it comes with the SecuROM PA, which forced the game to run in one cores, which caused it to stuttering and you have to check it to all cores manually via Task Manager. So yeah, I hope GOG isn't afraid of Adults Only rating by the ESRB, because they allowed Adult-visual Novel in their store.

Manhunt 2 is a game which I don't personally like very much, but it is a work of art and is heavily censored due to violent scenes. Having this on GOG would make it available to us forever legally.
**Why Manhunt 2 Uncut Deserves a Place on GOG and Recognition as a Horror Classic** *Manhunt 2 Uncut* is one of the most controversial and underrated games of all time. Released in 2007 and developed by Rockstar London, it built upon the foundations of the original *Manhunt* while diving deeper into psychological horror, storytelling, and player immersion. The Uncut version, which restores the original execution visuals and intended violence, represents the developers' true vision—one that was heavily censored or banned in many regions. GOG, a platform known for preserving classic games DRM-free and unaltered, is the perfect place for *Manhunt 2 Uncut* to be reintroduced to a new generation of players. What sets *Manhunt 2* apart is its focus on a broken protagonist, Dr. Daniel Lamb, whose descent into madness is expertly woven into the gameplay. The dual personality dynamic with Leo Kasper adds depth rarely seen in stealth games, and the narrative explores themes of identity, control, and sanity. Combined with brutal executions, eerie sound design, and a haunting atmosphere, the game creates a uniquely intense experience. While the original *Manhunt* is often credited for pushing boundaries, *Manhunt 2* elevated the concept with better AI, more interactive environments, and improved gameplay mechanics. It is a masterclass in stealth horror design that remains relevant today. Bringing *Manhunt 2 Uncut* to GOG would not only preserve a bold artistic statement—it would give the game the legacy it truly deserves, free from censorship, and celebrated for its raw, psychological intensity.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Shenmue I & II
Shenmue I & II"Originally released for the Dreamcast in 2000 and 2001, Shenmue I & II is an open world action adventure combining jujitsu combat, investigative sleuthing, RPG elements, and memorable mini-games. It pioneered many aspects of modern gaming, including open world city exploration, and was the game that coined the Quick Time Event (QTE). It was one of the first games with a persistent open world, where day cycles to night, weather changes, shops open and close and NPCs go about their business all on their own schedules. Its engrossing epic story and living world created a generation of passionate fans, and the game consistently makes the list of “greatest games of all time”."

Banjo-Tooie
Banjo-TooieColossal, immense, and gigantic; beautiful, gorgeous, and grandiose -- these are the words one thinks of when describing Rare's follow-up adventure to Banjo-Kazooie. Keeping consistent with the attitude found in this title, Rare has wittily named it Banjo-Tooie. Banjo-Tooie, simply put, is incredibly unimaginable. The worlds are ludicrous in size, the gameplay is polished and deep, and the soundtrack proves to be an immaculate compliment. When it comes to defining platform-based entertainment, Banjo-Tooie is filled with chapter after chapter of standards. Explore eight giant worlds, solve puzzles and help game characters to unearth jiggys, play as Mumbo, a T-Rex, Submarine, Money-Van, Washing Machine, and more, and learn more than 40 new moves on the way.

Where in America's Past Is Carmen Sandiego?
Where in America's Past Is Carmen Sandiego? This game is widely considered the most informational game of the entire series. Though it may contain some minute differences from the main series, it remains true to it. This game's aim (as the others' are), is to capture Carmen's gang of thieves, one by one until all of her henchmen have been caught. This is done by searching for clues, trailing them, identifying them and finally, bringing them in for trial. After all of the henchmen have been caught, the player must then go after Carmen herself. One of the main differences is that the player can receive in-game help.
