Story:Marvel Super Heroes is a 2D fighting game and the second Capcom title to feature characters from the Marvel comic universe. Each character starts with a set of gems. These can be activated during a fight to improve speed, power and defence, or provide special abilities to create crushing stone walls, open up a rift in space, or reverse the opponent's controls. The use of the gems is inspired by the The Infinity Gauntlet comic book series.Show more

It was one of the first fighting games my father bought for our PSOne. To this day, it has the most colourful cast of the most prominent 1990s Marvel heroes (plus Blackheart and Shuma Gorath), fun gameplay and my favorite themes for the characters.
While it was One Must Fall that first got me interested in fighting games, ultimately it was Marvel Super Heroes that made me want to properly learn their ins and outs. The first time I saw the Juggernaut Punch ignoring a point-blank blast from Iron Man before launching him through a solid wall, something deep within me just screamed "Hell yes, I want to do that."

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
Mortal Kombat vs. DC UniverseIn this arcade-style fighting game, both DC and Mortal Kombat universes are represented by 10 champions each, and one "boss" character, for a total of 22 fighters. Play is similar to the 2D Mortal Kombat games (with some 3D elements), focusing more on the special move aspect than the complex combos found in the previous three games (Deadly Alliance, Deception, Armageddon). As with any Mortal Kombat game, Fatalities are still present for the Kombatants and villains, though slightly toned down to meet the DC standards of heroes such as Superman and Batman keeping to their moral code and not killing their opponent. As a result, the DC heroes perform "Heroic Brutalities", which effectively put their opponent out of commission.

Black Tiger
Black TigerBlack Tiger, known in Japan as Black Dragon, is a 1987 action game released for the arcades by Capcom. A barbarian hero jumps and fights his way through a variety of colourful, enemy-packed levels. The sprawling, eight-way scrolling, two-dimensional levels are packed with hidden bonuses to encourage and reward exploration. Though a percentage of these bonuses consist of dubious and often self-evident "advice", most come in the form of "Zenny coins", currency that allows the player to buy such items as an upgrade to their weapons and armour, keys for treasure chests, and anti-poisoning potions. Special items that reveal coins, upgraded armour, full vitality, extra lives, extra time, or simply bonus points may be found by attacking certain walls. The player's vitality bar will also increase up to three times as a reward for reaching score benchmarks.

Battle Raper
Battle RaperBattle Raper has gained notoriety for its simulation of rape. This aspect was removed from the follow-up game Battle Raper II: The Game in 2005. Battle Raper is a hand-to-hand combat 3D fighting game. The gameplay system features power-ups that can be picked up in the arena. The female characters can lose their clothes as they take damage and special moves include sexually explicit grapple attacks. Besides the single- and multiplayer modes, including Story mode, Battle Raper features the Extra mode for the additional unlockable content. It allows the player to see unlockable artworks and animations, as well as features an option to allow to freely molest any of the four female characters (Mai Kisaragi, Suzume Hachisuka, Fa Taolee, Chihaya Kagami: the only male character is Zenon).

Battle Raper II
Battle Raper IIBattle Raper II is a weapon-based 3D fighting game in which the players are able to knock female opponents' clothing off. Every character has unlimited guard, a move that can not be blocked, as well as a super move. The game also features a variety of alternative clothing items and weapons for all the characters that can be used to edit their models. The game includes a single-player story mode, a multiplayer mode, and an Extras mode which is unlocked after finishing the storyline. As opposed to the first Battle Raper, the sequel actually does not feature rape but only consensual sex. Once a fight against a female character is won, the game enters a special mode where the unconscious woman lies on the ground in front of the player who now has to heal her wounds. The Replay mode allows the player to have sex with a chosen female character.
