After all the updates and mods this collection has received, it's quite the collection for what is my favourite series of video games of all time. Having a DRM free version would be amazing for both preservation and ease of access to everyone for decades to come!
Would be cool to have this version of the games with some of the improvement mods. With a growing modding community for the most accessible version of the games, these could become the best versions PERIOD. Having collection v1 here ensures it survives for a long time
Just an amazing series! Hopefully with Rising released on here, this will follow suit. Volume 2 has been confirmed to be in development and based on source code review of the Konami's website, placeholders seem to confirm PW, MGS4-5 will be next. The dream would be to have the entire MGS series on GOG.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is probably my favorite game of all time. My cousin bought it for me on the PS2 all the way back when it released in 2004 (makes me feel old lol). Since then I have purchased the PS2 (ps1) for MGS1 and 2 as well as getting them for the PS3 (along with 4) and I have MGSV on Steam, though I would love to get it on GOG as well. This would be way to long to go into what I love about this franchise, but I will say that the characters, story, atmosphere and world that is present in the games I have played is absolutely amazing. The boss battles, the play on the story/set up of the universe, the ahead of their time (and in my opinion still to this day) storying telling and expertly crafted gameplay make these games an instant (rebuy) purchase as soon as they become available DRM Free here on GOG.

While at first entering the Veil only allows him so see enemies more clearly and use strange flying creatures as bombs, he is later able to slow down time, surround himself with a protective shield or make himself stronger.
