If I could choose any Mortal Kombat game to put on GOG. I strongly felt it's gonna be Mortal Kombat: Deception. Not to insult those that liked either Mortal Kombat: Armageddon or vs. DC Universe respectively. To me this was the last great classic MK universe game. It's very important to note some versions adds stuff to the game. I originally had this on PS2 myself. I did get it on GameCube and PSP as Mortal Kombat: Unchained. These versions adds a handful of characters to the roster. The Krypt has a little more depth than Deadly Alliance version. Konquest Mode was easily my favorite among those. You play as Shujinko on a journey traveling the realms. This was a precursor to later MK's Story Modes. You actually get a very decent story with plenty of surprises hidden in the realms. This is so filled with content it's absolutely ridiculous. I rather play this over so many MK games again honestly. I'll accept any version they were able to get onto GOG. Personally I felt the ideal version has to be recreated to a degree. Essentially give us a newer version of Mortal Kombat: Unchained. If they could exclude DLCs that would greatly improve sells. Especially how both MK11 and MK1's DLCs are upsetting people. There's a huge variety of everything you possibly could ask for. It's easily one of the greatest 3D fighting games ever!!!
I have countless hours on this game, bring this and the whole ps2 era of mortal kombat games back.I like the new ones but I go back to theses from time to time.

To me this is my 1st and fav Mortal Kombat game I love! before the story mode added to the recent NRS games. I enjoyed the simplicity and the open world of Konquest mode. It's something especial for me this game. the dark vibe and expanded lore alongside with Armageddon, Deadly Alliance made it this trilogy of the 3d era special and unique. Spended countless of hours playing those and especially Deception, unlocking the stages, characters and the mini games of Chess Kombat and Puzzle Kombat were so fun to keep more hours of entertainment and of also I love it the fighting styles system in this game. I would really love to see Deception arriving for the first time to GOG and a dream come true to revive these classic gem of Mortal Kombat on PC.
**Why *Mortal Kombat: Deception* on GOG Needs the GameCube Port — The Best GameCube Fighter Ever with Goro** *Mortal Kombat: Deception* is already one of the best fighting games in the *MK* franchise, but the **GameCube port**? That version takes it to another level—because it brings **Goro** and **Shao Kahn** back into the arena, making it the ultimate version and arguably the **best fighting game on the GameCube**. Released in 2004, *Deception* built on everything that made *Deadly Alliance* great and pushed it further with **interactive 3D arenas**, brutal stage fatalities, **multi-tiered stages**, and a faster, more refined combat system. But when the GameCube version dropped in 2005, it surprised fans by including two exclusive legends: Goro, the four-armed Shokan prince, and Shao Kahn, the brutal emperor himself. For Goro fans like you, that’s a huge deal—his presence alone adds major replay value and a nostalgic punch of pure power. The GameCube port wasn’t just a lazy re-release. It was **polished**, ran smoothly, and included all the content from other versions plus the exclusive characters. It had **Konquest Mode**, a semi-open world RPG-style adventure that was way ahead of its time, **Chess Kombat** for strategic fun, and **Puzzle Kombat** for casual breaks. The variety in gameplay was unmatched, and no other fighter on the system packed that much content. Deception’s tone was darker, the fatalities were gorier, and the lore expanded in epic ways. It was *MK* at its most creative, and the GameCube version was its most complete form. Bringing *Deception*—specifically the **GameCube version**—to GOG would finally let PC players experience the **definitive edition**, DRM-free, optimized, and featuring **Goro in all his glory**. It's a must for fans of the series, GameCube-era fighting games, and anyone who wants to relive one of the boldest chapters in *Mortal Kombat* history.
I recall playing this with my brother during the summer of 2005. I spent the entire summer playing this game and trying to unlock every character. Thanks to this game, I had the nicest summer. This is basically the last amazing summer I would have for years. It's a shame this was never released on PC. I hope WB/Netherrealm Studios can bring this and other earlier titles to new platforms and PC.

Shannara
ShannaraShannara is a computer game released in 1995 for DOS and Microsoft Windows. It is based on the Shannara series of books by Terry Brooks. The game has some elements taken from RPGs, such as top-down world-map traveling and occasional turn-based battles. However, there is no real role-playing system in the game (statistics, experience points, levels, etc.). The battles serve to emphasize the danger of traveling the wilderness, or appear as story-related events; sometimes, they are treated like puzzles, with specific actions leading to victory.
