Nier Replicant/Gestalt is one of my favorite games of all time. It's one of the few games to ever make me cry. I'd love if the Gestalt version and father Nier's character could still be experienced by new players
While the RepliCant version of NieR is playable on PCs via the ver.1.22474487139... remaster, the Gestalt version is locked to the PS3 and X360. Players of the remastered RepliCant version only see this version of Nier in a side-mode that was originally DLC. It'd also let more people experience what NieR was like in its original state, as opposed to its remastered state.

Would love to immortalize Papa NieR as he is my preferred version although it's not canon. Definitely not as playable as it's remake, but still a solid gem nontheless. Definitely my favorite game in the franchise next to Drakengard 3.
This is one of my favorite games of all time. A beautifully written game, with excellent characters. Music that will stick with you for the rest of your life. It deserves to be preserved and remembered, not replaced by a subpar remake.

One of the last true reasons for me to still have my 360. The Gestalt version never got the remake it deserved, so at the very least it should be preserved on PC.
My first experience with this game was Gestalt with "papa Nier" on PS3. I loved it and I'm afraid this version has been abandoned for good. So I really wish it could be published (and saved) on GoG, for lack of a remake or remaster.
the other side of the story. the side that never should've existed. but it did, and it is an extremely unique take on the story. father Nier can be argued that he doesn't fit the story whatsoever because this story was made around the brother, and yes you would be right. he feels out of place with the cast especially with Kaine and Emil and considering how old they are, and all the sibling motifs around the game what with Devola and Popola, Gideon and Jakob, etc. that being said, you cant help but love father Nier, there is something about a man who has been through so much throughout his whole life, his wife gone and only his daughter to protect, the "only sane guy" in his crew so to speak. it's such a unique perspective on the game that i cant help but admire. i still heavily prefer brother Nier for many reasons, but i would love to see this version of the game (and also the PS3 version of RepliCant) on PC as every single version of this masterpiece of a game is worth playing and have their own merits. a slim chance, but i still hope it happens nonetheless. "It's like I just found something special. Something very special."

NieR/Gestalt is the version that myself in the west got chance to play. Yes, the story was written more for brother > father however It felt a slight bit more real having a father protagonist. Another reason I'd love to preserve this version is maybe a hot take but the original OST, some songs just hit better/harder in this version, I'm looking at you E/S (if you know, you know).
For a lot of people this "Gestalt" version of Nier, with the father character, is their original experience. We're also the people who bought, played, supported, and told others about this title back when the internet & gaming community at large couldn't care less about its existence. We are the reason Automata even exists; like it or not, without father Nier, this franchise would be dead in the water. This version of Nier absolutely deserves preservation. I've played the original Replicant version of Nier; and, while it is still the same game at its core, it's fundamentally different with the brother character protagonist. Myself and many others identify more with the father character; we find that it suits the story better, and Jamieson Price's performance as father Nier is exceptional. The Replicant remaster also changed the way the characters look, retconning Kaine's appearance into an inferior-looking 2B look-alike, ruining her characterization as a tough, sexy badass by giving her an unfitting doll-like face, turning her into another unimaginative waifu-bait character rather than preserving her original unique juxtaposition of being somewhat gruff-looking yet alluring and sexy by the way of her dress. The people responsible for Kaine's visual redesign in the remaster lack a fundamental understanding of what originally made the character appealing and amass so many fans. I'm ultimately fine with various versions of Nier existing—the franchise has been this way since its very inception—and people can and should play their preferred version without judgement. But this franchise simply wouldn't exist as it is today without this version of Nier; it absolutely fits GOG's mission and deserves to be preserved in its original form. I hope someday we can see this version of Nier get the respect and recognition that it deserves for kick-starting this franchise in the west, rather than having it be doomed to PS3 and Xbox 360 oblivion for all time.

No More Room in Hell
No More Room in Hell"When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth." A tribute to the highly acclaimed film series in which the above quote originated from, No More Room in Hell (PC Gamer's Mod of the Year 2011, ModDB's Editor Choice Multiplayer Mod of the Year 2011), is a co-operative realistic first person survival horror modification for the Source Engine. Taking inspiration from George Romero's "Of the Dead" series, the mod is set during a time in which the world is on the verge of collapsing into chaos from a disease whose origin is unknown. Many experts and organizations have their theories and ideas on how such a disease emerged and started to systematically destroy our very way of life, but one fact is clear to all. Whoever perishes from the disease gets up and kills, and the people they killed get up and kill. The chances of you surviving this all out war of society and the undead are slim to none. Already, there are millions of the walking dead shambling about, searching for food to eat. There's no known cure. One bite can possibly end it all for you. However, you aren't alone in this nightmare. There are still a handful of uninfected survivors left in this god forsaken hellhole, and with co-operation and teamwork, you may live long enough to fight your way to salvation.Features:Teamwork: Co-operative play with up to eight players. Voice and Text Communications Limited by Distance: The further you're away the harder it is for other players to hear you. Keep those walkie talkies close. Dynamic Objective Maps: The next playthrough may not be the same as the last! Survival Mode: Defend and maintain your shelter against the undead in the hopes of getting extracted to a safe area. A Realistic Approach: In short, no crosshairs with limited "only when you want it" HUD. In addition, ammo and weapons are extremely scarce. With that in mind, aim down your sights and shoot for the head! Multitude of Different Opponents: Ranging from the iconic "walking zombie" to the more contemporary "runners", NMRiH will keep you on your toes with a mix of dangerous foes to face down. However, the most dangerous enemy may not always be the walking dead... Infection: One bite may be what it takes to bring you down. If infected, you must decide if you want to alert your team to rid you of your burden, or to keep quiet in the hopes of finding a cure...

Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy - Director's Cut
Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy - Director's CutThe Director's Cut has sex scenes that were cut in the other versions. Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit in Europe) is a psychological thriller in which the player is able to control different characters on both sides of a murder - the killer and those who are trying to find him. The game's core gameplay style is adventure. The three protagonists explore various locations, talk to other characters, and interact with the environment in order to advance. However, the game is heavy on various action-oriented sequences, from tasks that must be completed within a limited amount of time to quick time events, which require the player to press the correct button during a scene.

Dragon Warrior III
Dragon Warrior IIIDragon Warrior III is a top-down role-playing game where you travel around the overworld, caves, castles, cities and other locations while battling random encounters, buying equipment, and talking to people. You and your party members receive experience when they beat up monsters and level up with enough experience, increasing their stats. The game features a day/night cycle - as you travel, day slowly changes to night and vice versa; shops are typically closed at night. You begin with control of just the main character but can quickly recruit three more members to your party. During the game you can choose to drop your current characters and recruit others at any time. The recruitable characters are divided into six classes: soldier, fighter, merchant, goof-off, pilgrim and wizard. The game has a unique job system, giving you the ability to switch your hired characters' classes after they have achieved at least level 20 in their base class. Characters can switch to the other beginning classes, as well as the sage class, which is not available at the beginning. When a character switches classes, they lose all earned experience points, and half of their stats, but retain all the abilities of the previous class. In this way, you can create powerful combination characters that are able to cast spells and fight effectively.
